Was checking buds when I saw some whiteish looking sugar leaves on one bud. I snipped off most of it but got to wondering if could be mold. Just one bud as far as I can see. Starting 9th week of flower and getting close to the end. Keeping room at 40%rh and low 70s temp. Ceiling fan that keeps plant wiggling. Have had no real problems throughout (my first) grow. Btw I cut that but off as a precaution.
doesn’t really look like the WPM I have seen… but if it is that it is already on all the buds so watch closely… snip those off if you can …then watch and be ready…

Thanks. Now for the patience check. I needed to find a hobby now that I’m retired and since Florida shot down the vote to legalize I figured what the hell, may as well grow my own. Latest pick and test have been getting better every week.
If you’re still concerned do a bud wash at harvest. A bit of h2o2 will handle all of your worries.
I got some do si do auto from them I’m about to run in a couple of weeks nice looking plants thought hopefully its just some Photobleaching or something like that photobleaching can turn the buds/leaves a yellowish or white color
As another precaution, you could take that bud that you think may have mold and break it open to see if its inside the bud. Its a small sacrifice given that plant has copious flowers.
Does not look like mold to me, have a HarleyQuinn CBD plant that has the same thing going, its going to cool to see how they look once drying, and Biscotti gets the same look when the pheno is there.
Have cut bud out and put it in some water for an expiriment. Took out of water for a few hours until leaves started wilting. Put back in water and leaves perked up in an hour. Will keep doing this shock treatment for a week or so and see what happens to the bud, keeping an eye on the trics which are mostly clear at this point.
I’m not seeing mold or bud rot.
