Hi all
First time grower kind of, did one last year just to play around. I have read a ton of posts on this forum which helped a lot over the winter.
I started five Zkittlez Feminized photos in solo cups last week using happy frog and perlite with a spider farmer sp1000 light. They are leggy I think but I keep moving the light closer. My plan is to start them inside for a few weeks till they can go outside hopefully the beginning of May. I’m going to up pot them next to a three gallon fabric pot, then a twenty five outside. I can already see a couple of roots coming through the bottom, should I transplant now or give it a couple more days? These are less than two weeks old.
Their off to a great start Growmie ![]()
She will get stressed each time u transplant. Wait til mid may and plant into the 25gal
They are looking good.
I don’t do transplanting myself, I go straight into 3 gal planter, but in this case I would wait a couple of days. Let them get a real leaf anyways.

Looks good. Wait a few days, at least u til the leaves are as wide as the cup, then transplant.
You can go either way, but as long as the roots aren’t trying to grow themselves in ways that get them stuck in the holes you cut, you can let them keep growing inside their little pots. Once the roots seem full enough they might have trouble getting out, I’d transplant whether the tops are caught up or not.
Nice. Now be gentle transplanting. Hole ready root growth powdwer in hole. Plant half way up that stem. Looking great. Be Patient. Good Luck. Peace Out
how many watts is the light? If you don’t have a light meter you can download the smart phone app called PHOTONE to set the lighting intensity. For these plants growth stage, I’m usually around a DLI of 22-25 ![]()
100 watts spider farmer sf1000
Right on, that light will get through some of the veg growth but seriously under rated to flower all 5. It will flower 1 plant at the most ![]()
It’s only has to get me through a couple of weeks to go outside.
Good to here Grow Bro and that’ll work perfect ![]()
