Time to re-create that strain so pray for a male. So many good strains have been lost to history it seems. What do you think it is that you have?

Read everything you see in here. Gather it all in and then find your style. There’s a lot of different methods to growing incredible cannabis.

Glad to hear it worked. I’m a bit surprised, frankly. After 30 years, I thought more desperate measures would probably be needed.

Congrats!

What is an h202 process?

Happy to see these popped for you! As a general rule of thumb, it’s not proper to handle seeds with bare hands. Use nitrile gloves, sterilized tweezers, or something of the sort to help protect against any contamination.

Yes, read and research.
This is education without leaving home.
Sharing is how we all learn.
The updates are important too.
Congrats on the ā€œ30 year bonersā€.

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is often used to disinfect or kill.
Maybe Hydration or bubble penetration.

Even used to wash weed at harvest, before hanging.

Mind blowing, too.

He’s referring to this method for sprouting reluctant seeds: https://bio-protocol.org/en/bpdetail?id=3875&type=0

Thanks for the info. I’ve been having quite a difficult time germinating seeds the last two weeks I’ve had 3 new seeds not sprout at all. And I have two currently in a paper towel that have been in a dark warm area for two days now and nothing has happened

Right on! Interested to see what comes from these.

Soak prior to moist paper?

I do, I soak them for up to 24 hrs till a small tail pops then I stick them in a paper towel in a dark warm area for two days. The last 3 I did that with a tail popped out maybe a cm but when I put it in the pt nothing happened the root that popped turned to mush. Maybe I had the paper towel too wet?

That can do it. Depends how long it sat in water and in paper towel.
If a tiny sprout shows then straight to soil works for many people, me too. Skipping the tissue. But many work with tissue too, maybe less delay there, worth a try.

Thanks for the tips homie definitely going to be trying a few different techniques. Been wasting $ on seeds and having a terrible success rate :man_facepalming:t4: I’ve never had issues before. could it be the type of seeds playing into it maybe I got a bad batch. The ones I have running now I ordered off of royal queen seeds. I have an og kush that I started in a PT didn’t soak in water or h202 solution I popped it right into the pt and two days later had a very nice sprout. It’s in the dirt RN just waiting to see if she keeps growing. And I have two fat banana autos that I put in a PT two days ago. nothing happened I stuck it in h202 solution last night hoping to see if any changes happened

The H2O2 and paper towel protocols are two different methods to sprout seeds. Once they sprout, they should go directly to a Dixie cup or soil cube.

Given the trouble you’re having, I suggest using the H2O2 method exclusively. Be sure to use distilled water and replace the 1% solution with fresh solution each day.

On a thread I have authored, I document just soil only, seed starting.
ILGM or my seeds, method works, sometimes,

too.
Seeds were un-soaked, prior to soil bed germination.
Admittedly, FFHF and dome cups were utilized.
5-10 days for results.
