Hey everyone I have been taking a break for a while and decided to start germinating some seeds (purple haze ) (grandaddy purple) and some orange bud I’ve had for about 3 years now and they just seem to not want to germinate on me! I wish ilgm had a way to purchase 3 seeds instead of 5 at a time so I could try at more different strains without draining my pockets? I put all my seeds in one basket and gonna go with the ones that do the best

Have you tried adding a dash of peroxide? There’s i guy I follow that germs 15 y/o + seeds using this method.
Another method is lightly scuffing the sharp “edge” with a pass on a piece of sandpaper before soaking.

I was thinking about that after I noticed they are having trouble I used tap water and the ppm was at 500 so I am going to try distilled water ph at 5.8 @Low do you know what part peroxide to water I should use? I got them soaking right now if I don’t see anything tomorrow I am going to try peroxide

1 method for old seeds:
20-30 min soak in 3% peroxide, then transfer to distilled or RO water.
Peroxide and water I just do a squirt. I don’t measure if I had to guess Maybe 5-10ml per 2 oz water. Sorry I can’t be more accurate than that.

They have alot of different strains and genetics i use them all the time and never had any problem .this is a white widow auto i got from them
Im growing this at the moment its about two weeks old

Don’t bother trying to ph the distilled water. It won’t work accurately unless something is mixed in to bring ppm up, and is unnecessary. Put a cupful of peroxide into the distilled water and soak for 24 hours. If doesn’t craxk then move to wet paper towel folded up in ziplock bag. Leave some air in the bag and place someplace warm. I use the top of my cable box.

Everyone talks about putting peroxide in the water when doin seeds ive never done it and i always popped every seed with success

Also, don’t touch with your hands. Use sterilized tweezers or equivalent.

I mixed a little of clonex in the water to drop the ph 5.8 at 100 ppm and I did notice the ph does like to drift back up fast!
