I’ve been searching without any solid answers…when do you guys start counting day one of vegetation from seedling?
I’ve always counted from the day it pops out of the ground.
Here ya go:
I usually call it when I see the first set of primary leaves
I don’t know that there is a formal definition.
I think the definition is pretty broad, but I kind of consider when I see my first 5 finger leaf. That’s when it seems growth rate accelerates.
I start counting veg when I start them on the veg feed schedule for my nutes. Its just easier for me to keep my journal and feed schedule using the same language. This is usually about two weeks after they sprout.
This is what i do too.
I dont really care to be too precise about that number. Regardless, I usually flip em to flower between 35-42 days after germination…assuming they are healthy and their growth is raging. Most plants end up finishing at my desired height/size for my soace with a short veg.
Thanks a million for all the advice…Much appreciated…
