Race to the light

Taller branches are within a foot of the light. How close is too close? Can’t raise it any higher. Do you think she’ll slow down soon? It’s like 2nd week of flower I think. Such a beautiful plant and don’t want to burn her.

She should be slowing down, but the supercropping is a great way to go for height restrictions. I wouldn’t do it past about week 3, tho.

Was able to get 5 more inches of height to the light by hanging it by paracord rather than the spider farmer wire and cord setup. Hopefully won’t have to supercrop the sweety now.

Hey @Smotio333 I’d try and keep them about 10 inches from lights.
Your plants should stop the Stretch after week three. Try and leave about a foot for the stretch, that’s a total of 22 inches to include the distance to lights afterward.
I use a bit of trellis to hold my girls back. You can weave them under the trellis until they are finished the stretch.
Also I’ve told to avoid the braided trellis and go with a solid Polyethylene (PE) due to fibers sticking to your buds.

Looking at the stage she’s in, stretch should be about done. As long as you’re not running 10,000 watts, she should finish fine. Watch for top of plants burning, doesn’t take long……

Light is 15in from tops now and @80%. Should I go to 100% yet?

Supercropped 4 of the tallest branches to get canopy more even. Week 6 since sprout. There must be 50 bud sites. Gonna need a trellis once they get big. Any guess to what yield I may get from this do si dos auto?
