Chopped 6 days ago.
I am on day 6 of dry. The buds are tight against the branches. As I peel them away, i got powdery mildew.
I’ve watched enough YouTube bud wash vids. I got the idea.
Can I wash them now ? Or is it too late ?
Do you have a pic? Is it the white cotton looking weblike mold?

No fuzzy mold. They have a dusty coating.
Couple growmies stopped by, both of them say im good.
This do si do made a ton of sugar.
In a situation like this , should i do the H2o2 bath/rinse now, and then resume dry process ??

Pictures? Were you using an ultrasonic humidifier with tap water? Did the mold appear after harvest during the dry?
I’ve done bud washes, but haven’t done it mid-dry. Seems you might have to do it. I wouldn’t want to be smoking WPM.

Good question. Could just be mineral deposits.
That’s a good question I’ve always washed them at the chop then dried normal. After 6 days of drying that would be a judgement call. A bud wash I don’t think would help you out with what your seeing.

I think you will be ok washing now and continuing to dry. I also think it will extend your dry time a few days which isnt a bad thing and dont see how it eould be harmful in any way

I know it’s difficult to tell from the pics Plant is completely dry, ready to bag. Looking for opinions if this is mold please.

It does not look like mold to me. It looks like resin. It reminds me of some Purple Haze I grew. It was the dirtiest flower I’ve seen
Run a Canna Brush or a silicon kitchen basting brush over the bud to remove some of the leaves. See what the bud looks like. Plus, it will smoke a whole lot better

I have cut several buds in half. There is no fuzzy or white mold. The areas of concern appear yellow, powdery haze on surface only.
My first mold issue. I hope im just paranoid. Thanks.

Hello, not sure how long they have been sitting but in my world ( Cigar Aficianado) white powder is considered great, it’s called Plume. It is not mold but accumulates on cigars (which weed is basically tobacco) plume vs Mold
If they have been sitting for only a short time most likely mold or the ultrasonic humidifier idea which is a great one but typically wouldn’t be under the bud but only coat the outside of it. Hope that helps some.

I saw that too and blew it up to see. Its just a bunch of those tall trichs squished together. It happens alot when they are like that
