Powdery Mildew dilemma

Hi folks; I’m one week from harvest, noticed PM . I sprayed with ILGM “Mold Shield”. Is it safe to smoke after drying it ?. It looks like its made of the “K”, from
NPK , Fertilizer.

“K” meaning, Potassium.

A dilute peroxide/water mix is effective and safe. Mold Shield is a preventative rather than a treatment for existing problems. Mold Shield contains neem oil and should not be used on a flowering plant. K is another part of it in the form of potassium bicarbonate.

I’d do a bud wash before consuming.

Let’s hear what others think too, but I’d be concerned about having neem oil sprayed on a plant one week from harvest. The only substances that remove neem oil also happen to the same substances that dissolve trichomes, which is the part of the plant that contains THC, CBN, CBG,… and terpines. The short story - you can’t remove neem oil without ruining the product.

If you have oversprayed the plant you might consider throwing it out. Neem oil is mildly toxic when inhaled. Choose wisely.

Don’t throw the plant out yet. Let’s see what other have to say too.

That neem oil is nasty and unfortunately don’t think it will be smokable. Maybe edibles…

Not particularly familiar with the product but website does state neem oil as an active ingredient. I don’t believe it’s unsafe but is not typically recommended for use during flowering as it can make your buds taste disgusting.

Update. I’m going to delay harvest for 2 weeks if possible. Hopefully that will be enough degradation of the NEEM to not degrade the end product. I do have another question. The plant is a 10 foot Purple Haze. Advice on a best way to Bud Wash everything, without taking all day. Has anyone used the bath tub, with Hydrogen Peroxide?.

Update. I did the 3 bucket ,bud wash with 8 oz Hydrogen Peroxide in 5 gallons of water, followed by two rinses. I still see some white powder on some leaves. Question… Can I consider the Mold dead? Powdery Mildew. Dry, and Cure?.
