I had powdery mildew so I sprayed some plants with neem oil. After about an hour, I rinsed off the plants and buds if in flower . I came back and rinsed a second time. Using a fairly strong spray nozze on water hose. Little ar no odor left. Some plants just starting to flower, one in its 3rdweek. Fingers crossed it doesn’t kill the plant or make it taste loke shit. Beginner grower here. What do you think. I know bud washing is an option but don’t really want to do it…
You are probably safe at this point in early flower to get away with it. I still would not recommend it and by washing plants after it increases the risk of more mold forming.
Humidity needs to be reduced to below 45% to prevent WPM. There are products safe to use during flower like Pure Crop 1 (never used it) and plain peroxide and water can be used, but will make leaves looks ‘scruffy’ with dried out edges.
Thanks for the quick response ! I appreciate it. Stonerfromthe70s
I have been using PureCrop1 for the past three years. I love the product. You can definitely use it during flower. I have noticed the second and third week of flower, when the white hairs are becoming very pronounced, that the spray somewhat will slow down the bud growth. So I would not spray the first three weeks of flower.
