Photoperiod reveg

A buddy of mine was growing a photoperiod seed from start on 12/12 an he couldn’t find out why it was starting to flower at 2 months old, LSS, he got mad an gave me the plant. My question is if I put it on 18/6 75% it will go back into veg right?

Reveg process will also allow you opportunity for taking/making clones.
11-1-2022 ILGM seeds started. Harvested 5/23 and reveged. Clones taken and harvested 11/23.
Pictures, too

I transplanted into a 5gl fabric pot. Lights going currently 20/4 @75% 18in from canopy

Excellent. I about to suggest that. Or up to 22 on. I do a lot of reveging myself. Once they veg you can drop it to 18. I think a strong it’s time to veg long lights approach makes the flip faster. Also, if there is any flower trim it out. The buddlets slow down the reveg. I theorize that the flowers themselves are a synch for flower hormones. Veg is always faster with the floral snip.

Interestingly, once pollinated, the reveg time no longer seems to be slower. It will reveg with pollinated seeds just as fast as they do if I trim the buds back to a unpollinated sister clone. . I have done this trial dozens of times over decades of growing.

That plant won’t skip a beat. It was barely into flower. It should flip back into veg very quickly.

She was started and grown on a 12/12 for 2 months with inadequate light. So she should respond well to the new environment.

That’s my PPFD @75% and 18in away from canopy. Does that look like ok numbers?

And by chance after she takes to the transplant could I chop off the stretched 50% of the plant like as if I was topping her since she going back into veg? This way I won’t have to bend or break supercrop train would rather top and use net to train.

That’s what I would do.

So I trimmed her down, and from what I trimmed I’m trying my first time at cloning, doesn’t rly matter if they take or not tho the clones I’m talking about, Just trying new stuff at this point. but does the trim job on the 5gal look ok?

If the fan leaves on the cutlings I’m trying to clone dropped them pulled back up that means they are trying to clone?

So the top nodes were about 3in up from the rest of the plant. The top of the plant died but the bottom is vegging now, I cut the dead top off. Is that normal?

Just an update

Got some new growth started.
