So I had trouble with lighting the first week (timer issues causing more dark time then wanted) after transplanting but did not think anything of it (meaning I did not think it would cause much trouble. )
Welp, I was wrong.
One of my plants must of went into flowering and now I am trying to figure out the the best course of action . I have read about re-vegging but want to know how to go about it entirety. Cut buds or no? Trim everything or no? Leave it and let it ride?
Current lighting is 20/4 with average humidity 66-72% and temperature 75-82 F
If it was me I would soldier on at 12/12 on the flowering girl if have a spot for her. Reveg is ok but I could grow another plant in time 1 will take to reveg…grow bigger…reflower. just my thoughts. She is well into flower and will produce ok.
Took me about 5 weeks to get one fully reveg’d and you’ll know once it’s there cuz it will grow like crazy but very irregularly. Not worth the time IMO
Agree, and with re-veg the plant may decide to go HERMI.
Stay with current lighting or reduce slightly . She will grow and she is good (relative to the others).
Cutting buds off, might be like Nuetering her. How cruel and shocking and again, she may decide to go HERM. Nurture her well and good growing to you.
@IloveInsulin, how did you pick your handle? Are you type 1 diabetic?
My sister is and cannabis definitely helps moderate her blood sugars. She has way less highs and lows when she uses cannabis. In the early 2000s she went on an insulin pump and had to monitor her blood sugar much more frequently to get the doctor to approve the device. Anyway, even the doctor noticed her weekend blood sugars were perfect. That was the only time she smoked. When my sister told the doc what her weekend trick was, he replied that he had seen that in other type 1 diabetic patients. I always thought that was interesting. Sorry not trying to hijack your thread.
Yes, tpe 1 for 25 years. I am also a registered dietitian. Studies have shown that marijuana can lower or maintain blood glucose levels. I have experienced both but not on a routine basis.
The freak accident of my one plant starting flowering before veg seems to be holding strong. Just flipped to flowering a few days ago so I am going to seem if it stays good.
The only issue i am running into is: the plant that flowered early has all of a sudden started to hold water. It never was doing that but over the past 3 weeks, when I go to water them, the plant that has buds is still heavy as if it is holding water where the other is light as it should be.
There are no other signs of the plant being water logged/drowning: no peats, no wilting leavings, nothing.
I spent a year on a farm (and another on a ranch), once upon a time.
You can lead a horse to water, not make him drink. Some drink more, than others.
Watering by weight, not time, is better. PNW weather snaps cold and my plants use less water.
Then the rain hits and nobody gets thirsty in the cold.
