It would appear to be going into reveg.

I’m not experienced in re-vegging this late in the bud development, I’ve re-vegged a few very early in flower. @Low @kaptain3d @Covertgrower any words of wisdom :love_you_gesture:

Not enough experience to say, but it takes some time to revert to a vegetative state. Which means it’s been trying to reverse for a while. It’s a hormonal shift and at this point getting it back to flower would take a lot more time and likely cause additional growth. No idea what kind of growth but likely undesirable, and I can’t imagine any current bud would be good by that point. Smokeable but heavily degraded. If there is any bud with visible trichomes I’d try to get up close and personal with them and see the state they are in. Cloudy clear amber. Worst case you could chop, decarb to CBN ranges and use for edibles.

Sounds like the plant was started outside way too early it flowered because it wasn’t getting enough daylight. Now its revegging cuz the daylight hours are long enough. Its gonna reveg for about 6 weeks or so then switch back to flowering. While its revegging it will put out lots of wierd growth. The dead give away are the single finger leaves with smooth edges.

@40stylez I know that if you don’t trim it up that it can cause a mold situation later after it goes back to flower.
It will cause a thick layer of growth over the plant where the buds are now that air can’t get through.
Been there. Lol.
I’d be let it go for now and see how it develops going forward and then reassess where to do the trimming after it fully reverts to 3 + fingered leaf growth.
Just my .02.

I came here to state the same thing.
Highly recommended to trim up the excess, leaving spaces between the flowers will be difficult because of how crazy it grew, but trim off anything that has defect.

As for maintaining a flower schedule, I would build a black box to keep light out so it will flower at the correct timeframe for you.

For sure. I had a few monster crop clones, and when they went into flowering, those things were dense. Mold could definitely be an issue with it being that dense. Outdoors presents its own set of challenges with the elements.

Isopropyl alcohol works great.
Get the 99% at the drug store.
70% from Wal mart will work but takes more.

I like to use Olive Oil, smells so dang good mixed with that stickiness. Could marinate a steak in that aroma. Followed up with soap and water.

I use denatured alcohol, works even better than isopropyl.
