I didn’t see a “Big Dumb Question” group, so I will post it here:
Is it possible to buy mixed, (male and female), Landrace seeds?
My first reaction is “no” simply because seed sites make their living on selling feminized landrace seeds. But, if you are partial to a specific strain, is it out there and can it be purchased so you can isolate it for personal use?
Which brings up another lingering question: If you use Colloidal Silver and are successful, are you diminishing the landrace genetics by inbred traits going forward?
This is a factor with any method that is used whether it be a hobby grower or professional breeder. Nothing you can do about it. No need to worry about things you can’t change.
I’ve had my feminized seeds develop pollen when I lost power and temperatures plunged 30F from 80’s to 50’s during the great Texas power outage a few years back. One of my GSC plants out of the four I had growing pollinated the rest of them. I grew them seeds them seeds the next year and find them to be very good if not better, probably due to my environment, getting some upgrades, than the original plants.

Indian landrace company may have something for you. I have looked at them before. They are on another seed site so I won’t post a link. Here is a bit from their about us sheet:
Indian Landrace Exchange is a collective of Indigenous frontline farmers, seed collectors, and preservationists from Central and south east Asia Who collect, document, preserve, select and strive to improve these landrace and heirloom Genetics for the present and future, yet constantly strive to empower the Indigenous Communities through a holistic Landrace exchange program,
Thanks again for replies. Im trying to find a 100% sativa, and have been looking at Durban Poison.
Is Durban Poison a true unadulterated original landrace? I notice landrace websites dont mention it as one of their products; maybe coincidence but i prefer this groups advice overall. Ty.
I’m doing a lot of research on this and have found some small groups that keep the original strain going. I’m growing 2 Columbian Golds but what I would consider a modern day Landrace as far as the seeds go
