Where would you find some quality, genuine landrace genetics?
I saw somebody growing a Chocolate Thai sativa landrace that wasn’t anywhere near done flowering even at 12 weeks, but it was a gorgeous massive plant.

Seeds here now dot com
ILGM has Durban Poison.
There’s a few true LR breeders out there and sometimes like finding a unicorn. Most advertised as LR are diluted versions of the true LR strains we experienced back in the day
Indian Landrace Exchange seemed promising. They do point of origin Indian and Afghani cultivars. Couldn’t find much in the way of a LR sativa.
I dunno where you’re located but Zamnesia.com do a landrace mix pack or sell these strains as feminised:
Afghani
Thai
Panama Red
Colombian Gold
Hindu Kush
Lambs Bread
There is also a seed company called Afghan Seed connection who bring landrace strains from Afghanistan to market. They are regular seeds though as far as im aware, so you will have to separate males and females.
Look for regular seeds versus feminized. Better chances of getting something closer to the original genetics
Thats why I mentioned Afghan-seed connection.
They have toured Afghanistan and collected the landraces of different provinces.
Their collection are a little pricey (to be expected) but their collection is:
Helmand
Kabul
Bamiyan Buddha
Nimruz
Kandahar
Parwan
Herat
Logar
Panjshir
I have a few descendants of Skunkmans Skunk #1 currently growing. Interesting back story on these on how they were put away and forgotten
I haven’t dropped them yet. I got my Burmese LR seeds from the real seed company. They also sent some bonus LR strains.

Mel Frank?? I have been looking to buy some of the OG Skunk from the 80’s and found that same info. Haven’t made the purchase yet.
Yes sir and the ones I have are doing pretty good, I might collect some pollen and cross some plants I’ve been working on for a few years
I’d clone that
As far as I know, Mel Frank and Todd McCormick are working together. Their store is : Ag seed co . com
Their prices are similar to ILGM, but their shipping cost to Canada is prohibitive.
$50.00 for 5 seeds + $50.00 shipping and handling.
When I asked if they offered a warranty of some sort for the shipping, they told me in no incertain terms that if the seeds didn’t make it, it was my lost. And they also don’t have ILGM’s germination warranty. That why I decided not to buy from them…
But in the US, it can be a whole different story…
That’s why I’m mentioning them (and they do have some great strains), because I really wasn’t impressed with their customer service…
That’s my assumption as well
You’re always one of the first on the mailing and tester list Buddy
Need me some of that skunk! They look great
Inoculate The World .com travels all over the world collecting rare mushrooms in the efforts to keep these rare and extinct strains alive and readily available.
While in Afghanistan the owner picked up a ton of rare Afghanistan land race strains directly from the side of the mountains. Last time I checked they were $100 for 10 seeds (land race not feminized) could be male or female.
The guy is the number one source for quality mushroom liquid culture and/or spores etc. he’s very proud of the Afghanistan seeds and the rarity of the strains. If you’re looking for an honest to God land race it’s worth checking out
