I have a couple autos that have grown a bit and started to flower in the solo cups. Haven’t been around to transplant. Is it too late?
Definitely to late
Im not up on Auto’s, so no experience to help you with that but many here are and will chime in.
Too late. It wouldn’t do any good because the roots stopped growing a long time ago.
way too late the are almost rdy to harvest. next time start in a 5-7 gal grow bag. start them in their final home and never transplant autos. they only live a short time 2-3 months transplanting can stunt them here how my autos look at 4 weeks
@LilRon
Love the purple colors on the right. What is that?
I appreciate everyone’s response!! so best bet is just see what happens with these(yield) and start something new?
I believe that one is Bruce Banner
Yes sir, I would start autos in their forever homes next time. They can be transplanted well but it takes experience and acting quickly and sometimes life just get in the way.
I appreciate your help, that’s exactly what happened
Dont waste those. I’ve seen people grow big buds in solo cups! Just feed them the correct amounts of PPMs…
I have to politely disagree with that advice. I feel that starting autos in a big pot is like sabotaging your own grow. My autos in soil average over 4’ and yield between 5 and 8 ounces per plant.
This is my current run of 8 autos in their solo cups.
And this is them today, 4 days after transplanting.
I’ll be starting to train them next week. If you want to follow along here’s a link to my journal.
So what are you disagreeing with?
Starting autos in their final pot is what I’m disagreeing with.
I think the risk of a new grower trying to transplant an auto, it’s a delicate process that’s needs to be timed carefully and correctly. It can be done with experienced hands.
