We have a new contender, meet big girl #2 this is been the quietest girl in the tent. She’s never had to come to the spotlight until now. She’s actually outgrown the big girl. She’s taller and wider. 4 ft 4 in
She’s the Do-Si-Dos’s younger sister. She was born on the 4th of July although she’s moving right along she’s definitely slow on production. She’s got tons of Bud sites super long branches a healthy looking potential main cola.
But I did an experiment on her. I super cropped her and boy she didn’t like it. But it turned one cola into five just on the top branch. She regressed and stress for over a week which is not very good with her age. So basically for about 3 days she’s just shining eating it 800 EC like it’s a treat before bed I can feed this girl 2000 EC and she’d want more
Other than what we did with the big girl doubling her big buds I’m not quite sure when I can do to fatten these buds up as they are behind. She’s got great airflow every single Bud site on there is getting good light she’s got a nice spot in the tent so I guess all I can do is sit back and see how she does. I do believe it was a big mistake super cropping her but I guess that’s remained to be seen at the end
Wow, she definitely did some stretching for sure, she looks great! In the future you can try removing a little more from down low early in flower. However much energy she’s putting into that lower growth could be redirected up high if that lower growth wasn’t there.
My little ones are on day 10 today. In another couple of weeks I’m going to be training them all and I’ll post in my journal about the way I lolipop them and exactly what I remove and what I leave in place.
Don’t you put your girls in Solo cups? Did you put them in pots yet? I was checking out some drying videos last night and one of the guys that I do like on YouTube his name is something like “make your own soil” or some shit was talking about the seed company that you like. He was saying when it comes to autoflowers it’s by far the number one go to spot for him has nothing ever comes close to the quality or the yields that he gets from Mempestos. I’ll definitely get them a try in the future
My little ones are still a few days away from being transplanted. I started a journal this morning. It’s called “I don’t think Al Gore has any friends”.
I’ve got to make feed for everybody for tomorrow morning. Based on your comment that you think we might have been under feeding them slightly, 98% of everything in the tent is eating at 800 EC intake. Would you say it was feasible to push to 850?
Sorry I didn’t get back to you yet, I compared the base nutrients this morning. The differences between them are very little, so the amounts should be right in line with what I’m using. That’s not to say that you couldn’t up it a bit if you feel like they can handle a bit more, but I’d only do that on the ones who have a bit longer to go. Anyone getting very close to the end I’d keep it the same.
10/4 @Cap_Ron I appreciate it! I love to push them. Also at the same time I understand they don’t need much anyway so the old phrase less is more can actually take part in this as well. I’ll give them the 850 one time as a treat for the ones that have a fair mount of time left
Those are good burnt tips in my opinion, but at this point in the grow you can back off a bit so it doesn’t progress further.
Usually that’s exactly what I want to see the tips look like a bit earlier in flower, just to know they’re getting pushed to the max!

Hi Ron. It’s been a very long weekend I’ve had side work all weekend long. Want a big girls colas the size of my arm broke today she’s just too damn heavy. Luckily the branch didn’t snap she just super cropped herself. I took a tie wrap and just tied the two colors together to keep it up and it looks like it might not be a problem. I can no longer take her out of the tent to feed her. her branches are so small and her buds are so big.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Today big girl starts her feed cut to 600 EC. Assuming she has this week and next week puts her at 100 days. If you look at the advanced nutrient feed chart it says the last two weeks of feeding to cut big buds. I believe you said to feed her 600 EC of Base nutrients and big buds. So should I ignore the feed chart? Thank you in advance brother.
Also for the record, all of her trichomes are still clear is this normal?
I keep using Big Bud until the final week. I think the Advanced Nutrients schedule is allowing one week for ripening and then another for a flush, but most of us don’t flush anymore.
I’m sure the trichomes will start clouding up any day now. I’ve had some that go past 100 days, but not too many.
With the branch that broke, aside from giving it support, you can wrap tape over the area where the break was. If the outer skin of the branch broke, the tape will help prevent any pathogens from getting it. I like to use electrical tape, but in a pinch, scotch tape, masking tape, or packing tape all work fine.
Hope you get some time off to make up for working through the weekend!

Okay so I’ll stop using big bud next week when I turn to H2O feedings. at this point is it even necessary to check and document the runoffs on the two girls that are getting cut back?
Not really, I used to check it all the way to the final day, but I’m not sure why, lol. Now, once I hit the last couple of weeks I quit checking runoff unless there’s a specific reason why I want to see numbers on one of them.
For the most part, once you start reducing the strength of the feedings, it’s fairly predictable that runoff numbers will start to decrease as well.

8pm last night I get called to a local convenience store. They wanted to add 2x 240 circuit breakers for a new cooler system. I look at the current set up of the breaker panel and it’s from 1973 AKA a fuck’in rats nest.
The owner agrees to let me redo the entire system. And tells me they open at 8:00 a.m… So, I say what the hell I’ll give it a shot. $3000 and I’ll do my best
215 a.m. my current situation.
I retired early because I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was a Local 3 guy in NYC, but I live pretty far Upstate. The commute was more than I could handle after a while.
I do some part time tech support from home now, and I hand pick side jobs once in a while when I need to.
I hope you’re all done by now and getting some rest!
HELL NO! I still have 3hrs left. They oversized the main lines going into the panel. They were two times too big for the box. Had to wait till 8:00 for anything to open to get some reducer blocks.
