Fastbuds Banana Purple Punch Auto clawing

Hey everyone, thanks for being here. Leaves are drooping and appear to be clawing. 1 week into pre-flower…Coco soil…fabric bags…Buddah Grow 2 tbs and Fox Farm Bloom 2 tbs per 2 gallon…just noticing dark leaves, curling down and inward..I’ve been watering around every 3 days if the soil feels right…tent temp 81F and 68% RH, it’s in garage so not much I can do about the heat…it should be getting lower now. Any advice? I’ve had two great grows under my belt, both autos that did really really well, I guess I’m nervous about these because the first set of seeds never popped and had to reorder and start over. Thanks much.

If your medium is Coco it needs Cal/Mag daily…I think thats where your deficiency lies as well as a shortage of water.
Watering every 3 days is a bit harsh…Water meters/probes are cheap and will be your friend. Good luck.

Thanks friend. I forgot to mention I do had about a tsp of epsom salt at every watering. I was afraid of over watering, but I thought Coco dries out a bit faster. I was using the “pot heaviness” method and feeling an inch or two into the soil. But I should get a meter, now over to Amazon…thanks again

Coco doesn’t need a moisture meter. Just feed to 20% runoff daily. Try to keep your pH between 5.9-6.0 in the beginning of flower and maintain roughly 1000ppm. Also, with Fox Farms liquid nutes, it is recommended to stick with the trio and feeding schedule they offer.

Is it coco or soil? I’d recommend going with one or the other and not mix them. Two different watering cycles, ph requirements. Never let coco dry out or you’ll be in for trouble. It will throw off ph and EC at the root zone.

Goodluck

Thanks Fritzy. It is Royal Gold King’s Mix, a coco and peat blend.

using a moisture meter removes guess work
