Easiest soil grow I’ve had

I had been using fox farm soil and nutes for like 2 years. No matter what I did half way through flower things fell apart. Whether I flushed, monitored ph in or out, I always starting getting issues halfway through.

Certainly, pot size could have been bigger, or maybe there were some things that I hadn’t ironed out but I asked around and I switched soil to roots organic and started using general hydroponics nutes.

I’m like 10 days from 8 weeks flowering and I have only had a brief period where I showed some calcium deficiency due to the ph of my water goin in a little high. I brought the ph down and the plant responded positively. I’ve lost almost no leaves to deficiency or stress. Certainly dropped some yellowing fan leaves but that’s normal.

I watered first couple weeks without adding anything except 1/4 strength cal-mag calimagic each watering. Full strength is 5 ml per gallon . Then I fed 1/4 strength GH trio with 1/2 strength calmag. Next watering I added 1/2 strength calmag only again and then next feed was a very good RO only watering to kind of flush things out. Then I would feed nutes and cal mag, then calmag only then ro only and cycle through this feeding schedule.

As the plant grew I went up to 1/2 strength GH trio with 1/2 cal mag. Next watering was 1/2 cal, and next water was RO only.

I kept this feeding schedule through the transition. I only changed the ratio on the GH trio per the instructions.

I kept this through 4 weeks of flowering. My ph going in i find best is 6.2-6.5. Once it was 6.8 and that’s when I got the calcium deficiency showing.
Ppm in I aim for 1000 coming out during last 4 weeks of flowering. And I switch to 1/4 nutes and calcium every watering up until the last two weeks to wher I am. I’m currently getting ready to feed lightly one last time then flush til harvest.

Certainly I think nutes were a little high as my leaves are a bit dark and I have some tip burning so it’s something I need to watch next grow but this is the best grow I’ve ever had start to finish. I’ve harvested quite a few plants but by harvest time I always have most of the leaves are gone, yellow or crispy and the buds are certainly smaller or more airy than I’d hoped.

Thanks for the help. Here’s some pics of where I’m at
