I also trim stems off, and any leaves that I can see a stem. Only leaves I don’t trim are the tight ones on the bud that I can’t see a stem. I leave mine in for the full 8 days, then dry trim and put in grove bags. I do think I overload mine, I bought the extra 5 shelves so I have 11 total, and I max them out.

I rough trim mine wet, my average dry is 4-5 days and then 4-5 at 60/60 for initial cure, I still cure in jars in the end for long term.

I do a very tight wet trim. They are ready to smoke once they are dried and cured.
