Fox Farm soils, Roots Organics, or Coast of Maine. Stay away from Miracle Grow and Vigoro products. They are not properly buffered for cannabis and can cause other problems as well.

Jacks 321 is cheap, easy to use, and very effective. It is a favorite among many experienced growers.

Seedlings shouldn’t be given nutrients until it is necessary. Many soils come preloaded with nutes sufficient for the first 4 to 6 weeks. Do you have a PPM meter?

Decide on a style trolling the site. Once decided let us know and the growers of that style will line you right out. Hydro big. Photo big. Organic smaller but simple. Coco faster than organic or soil with great veg and size. Many ways and all work well when done properly.

Hard to beat Jacks. My first indoor grow and used Jacks exclusively. It’s very forgiving using their schedule. You can flex a bit with it.

so the nutrients you used was a brand named jacks ? and if so how would i have to feed it every so would i have to in crease the ph ?

You always should PH to whatever stage the plant is in. I adjust to 6.5 in flower

I use happy frog soil, and happy frog fruit and flower 4-9-3, along with some extra bone meal, blood meal, and worm castings. Then pretty much just water from there. And I’ll add, having grown many many plants, gelato has been my all time best. Very dense buds, and very high quality, with a fantastic aroma when smoked. I don’t smoke, but my wife says it’s the best I’ve ever grown. Good luck.

Another vote for Jacks here. Also, I use either Mother Earth Groundswell soil or FFHF.

so just to feed the plants i would just have to water the plants and add some fertilizers?

would the jacks nutrients come in a white and blue bag ?

Yep Part A fully dissolve, Epsom salt per directions fully dissolve, then Part B fully dissolve. PH your water, check PPM and give the girls a drink. Then check runoff and compare. Really user friendly.

I used the solid bag forms that I mix. Not sure if there’s a liquid version and if so I’ve never used it. You can find Part A and Part B online and just by a bag of plain epsom salt.

okay im piecing all this up so i would plant my seed in the grounds well once it sprouts thats when i would introduce it to the iacks 321 and by doing that i would just mix the 321 into my soil amd then water ? and that should get me where i want to start ?

thanks bro and when yu water is their any solution that you add when watering or do you use straight water no liquid fertilizer or anything

I use some recharge occasionally. Bush doctor kelp me kelp you is good stuff too, but probably not necessary unless you happen to have some.

I would wait at least 3 weeks before introducing Jacks to let the nutes already in the soil breakdown and feed your plant. Groundswell isn’t real hot so you won’t have burn issues unless you start feeding too early. Just sit back and watch your seedling, she’ll tell you what she wants.
