Ive been using 5 gal. Fabric pots for my photo periods but recently started growing autos and when i harvested i noticed that the rootball isnt as big as photos,so my question is will my autos do ok in a 3 gal pot?

3-5 gallons are good for autos.

Yes they will but imho your harvest won’t be the greatest but not bad 3-5 onces maybe… i grow my auto’s in a 10g pot it makes the whole process longer for flowering but well worth it…

I’d go back to 5g if i were you because you’re already used to them you know like the watering weight etc… just my opinion

I use 3.5 gallon air pots and 5 gal fabric pots for autos. Your auto should fill whatever pot you put it in. If it doesnt, consider fluffing your soil a lil with addtl perlite. Helps drain and kees soil from being super heavy which can slow up your roots.

What kinda ratio? Also size of perlite?
I actually go by eye on the pearlite

It came with some perlite but i added 20% more to it
I’ve only ever used 3 gallon pots for my autos i personally believe anything bigger is a waste of medium

It all depends on how big you want your plants to be and how much space you have available imho
Do you use a myco product? My last grow was first time I ever used it. Totally filled a 5 gal. It was amazing!

I use Earth Dust base and bloom i top dress with it… hf ff ocean’s that’s it

Yep yep i use Extreme Gardening MykosWP on all my plants also do a soil drench with it every few weeks this is a Purple Jack N Cheese auto i have finishing atm shes is in a 3 gallon pot pot size will not guarantee anything with plant size when it comes to autos ive seen massive autos grown in 1 gallon and 2 gallon pots it all comea down to genetics impo

I have a question for you… if you’ll scroll up to the pic of my big plant … look at the stage my plant is in with the lil popcorns flowers and my question is from that stage on until now how long was it

This pic was taken last week start of week 5 of flower she only has maybe another week possibly 2 to go she is also only maybe a foot and a half tall she broke ground at the beginning of May
Oh cool deal so i should see alot of bud making love and developing at a quicker pace hopefully
