What to do? Harvest or wait?

Ive got a mystery seed thats a week or two away from harvest. All of a sudden the leaves on the whole plant have drooped and the upper ones are drying up. The triclomes are still clear. I dont have any fancy tools to check PPM’S. Ive just been lucky to say the least. In my opinion there’s no saving this plant as close as it is to harvest. My question is do I cut the buds and let them dry or just let them hangout and see what happens? I really hate this.

A week and a half ago I lost
one Train Wreak due to root rot.
The leaves drooped and then turn yellow like over night.

I pulled it and it’s curing at 61%
It starting to smell good and gets me high.
3oz I’ll use it for edibles.

It does look like it.
Pull it from the pit and check to see what color the roots are.
Brown black and or mushy. Is root rot.

My buds that I got off of it
Not nearly perfect but it works.

@OldBuds thanks for the advise man. The plant right beside it looks like a champ. Only difference is the one thats dying doesn’t have a pot riser under it. The one thats going strong does. Sounds like you hiy the nail on the head man. This was my frist grow so you live and learn.

My second season, I grow outside.
The plant that I killed. Was prone to root rot.

@OldBuds these were grown inside. I purchased a tent but it smelled like cigarettes. So the grow went on with just the frame. Ive got the tent smelling better now. So hopefully the next grow will go better.

I would not smoke a single bud from that plant friend. You don’t want to be taking mold/fungus into your body.

@StickyFrostyBuds wow, should I get it away from the plant beside it?

Will this also make the whole plant die like the pics show? I see this is a type of mold/fungus.

I think quarantining it is a good idea…have you check the roots as suggested by @OldBuds

@StickyFrostyBuds , @OldBuds .
Here’s the pics of the root system. Most of them are still in the remainder of the dirt. They are not soft/mushy. No stinky smell. When i break them apart that have a nice little snap to them. Ill let yall be the judges. I guess ill examine the buds next. Pics to come later of the buds.

Looks good…

@OldBuds if you look close it apears to be a hint of something “mold” on top of the dirt. But im not 100% sure.

It may be salts in the soil.
