I had 3 plants in a 2x3 tent that was WAY over crowded so just over a month ago, at about 8 weeks of age I moved two of them outdoors to a friends place and gave the full tent to the nicest looking plant. They’re just over 12 weeks now and they still LOOK like they’ve got more time to go to me, they’re really green, a little soft and “fluffy” and have almost no pistils at all…But the calyx’s are very swollen, to the point that I thought they might be making seeds, and I just clipped a couple buds, trimmed them tightly and scoped them and it’s already showing a lot of amber on the buds and almost all amber on the sugar leaves.
Unfortunately these two plants also got hammered with several inches of torrential rain over a 3-4 day period about a week ago and it looks like a lot of the trichome heads may have gotten knocked off. I don’t know what choice I have at this point but to go ahead and harvest them. I assume they’re not going to re-grow fresh trichs at this point and the amber will continue to progress.
Please take a look at these pics and any advise would be greatly appreciated…
