Update:
I need to harvest at the same time so I can dry in my cabinet under the exhaust. With that said, I wanted to post both together for an updated opinion. Right now, there are 2 separate posts you guys were helping me with other questions, but I can’t figure out how to delete them to consolidate. (Sorry Mods and Growmies)
Here are my specs; however I just started plain PH water 3 days ago (no more nutes, Epsom, or molasses)
Is it going to be possible to chop them both, and how long do you think to make that possible?Drawbacks?
Indoor 2x3 New420Guy 1st- True Purple Haze auto.
2nd- Critical 47 auto
Week 8 Flower. Tap water with air pump x 24 hours to dechlorinate,
PH 6.7, Tiger Bloom and Molasses every other water (3 days - 1/2 Gal) CocoLoco in 3 Gallon Fabric.
LED HLG 100 RSpec 18/6
Temps - 75f
RH (high) around 55-60
I think you could get it done at the same time. The first 4 pics look like she will be a good, cloudy trichome with a few clears. The rest look mostly cloudy with some amber.
End result? Less of a Stoney high, high THC, possibly racy/head high. The other plant with more amber will be nice and couch-lock-y.
I think you’ll be just fine chopping both at the same time, they’re easily within harvest window.
Awesome. It’s so hard for me to tell between cloudy and clear. Probably the colorblindness. I’m thinking next Saturday is the day. I already get anxiety smoking some strains, so I will sacrifice some potency to avoid it.
Untrained eye and colorblind aren’t working out for me. To me this looks like 60 %clear still, but somehow 35% cloudy and 5% amber. Am I looking at something wrong? What do you all think?
They look more like a 20% clear, 75% cloudy, 5% amber to me - the difference between clear and cloudy can be marginal sometimes. But you’re right to wait. I’d guess that in a week, you’ll be at the point you can harvest without getting an extremely racy high. It may take as much as 3 to really hit a nice relaxing amber high.
Thanks! So if they still look like water drops, but have a small cloud in them somewhere, they are considered cloudy? Thanks for the help. I couldn’t do this one without you guys. We are getting there! I’ll be bugging you for 1-2 more weeks.
I consider that cloudy - if it isn’t crystal clear like glass, it’s not still “clear” in my book. Granted, I will always wait to see a touch of amber, so the majority of my buds tend to get past the “partly cloudy” to “cloudy” while the original “cloudy” turns honey-colored.
70 grams of bud and 56 grams of larf/trim. I was waiting for the “snap” and got impatient. Turns out my Grove bags are reading 56rh right now. Hoping I didn’t kill the cure. Trimming sucks, and seeing all that unsmokable flower was definitely a disappointment.
Not at all. How long they been in Groves? If less than 72 hours, wait. If longer, then add the following to rehydrate: a lemon peel, an orange peel, a handful of fresh fan leaves from another living plant, or any other citrus peel you fancy. Just a little goes a long way in pulling the RH back up to the 58-62% range.
I frequently let my sh!t get too dry - I really need to quit, but every one of the above mentioned has made it into a grove bag or two so far. Most recently the only thing I had on hand was garlic, so I threw a few gently smooshed cloves of garlic into my grove. It is probably not something I would suggest - just in case anyone else is desperate like I was.
I don’t even have garlic at home. I’m at 24 hours - 55rh. I might have to sacrifice my solo cup girl for fans if it doesn’t change by 72 hours. It’s too late to mess up now.
Think I got them leveled out, about 62. Adjusted the position of my meter and threw some fan leaves in.
Now another waiting period. This was my harvest after butchheri…uhh. trimming.
33 and 40 grams. 55 grams of larf and trim.
Thanks everyone! @Graysin@SilvaBack203@ShockDog@Docnraq
