Humidity and temp are my issue, they fluctuate between
H-50-99%
T 62-78°
It falls, i bring it up. Then too high 8 bring it down. Every 2 hours. Trying different ways to stabilize but nothing works yet.
I lay my peat pots with jiffy seed starting medium on top of felt. The felt remains wet at all times. Its my rigged watering system that always works for my tomatoes and peppers. 4 days ago the water i use is ph 6.1-4. The plants are 3 weeks old.

2 days ago i fertilized with bergmans seedling fert. as directed on the package. I do not believe i got any on the leaves.
They are under ho t5 bulb, one facing down on them and one facing the side of them.
I dont really have a budget but as a vegetable gardener, i love good deals and recycling when i can. I do not have room for a grow tent.
Last night, the one looked a little droopy. This morning this is what found. The other plants looked great last night. This morning i noticed a little yellowing. Now the leaf is yellow.
I appreciate the tag but I don’t know much about controllers except they are out there and work, I believe it’s @OGIncognito that has them all set up for his room
@MeEasy question was not about controller he just needs helpbwith his grow in general I just suggested him a controller is all. Read his thread see if ya can give him a hand
At this stage, there’s really no such thing as too humid. Let it skyrocket, then stop watering. I believe the droopiness is a sign of overwatering. Seedlings really dont require much watering.
I water soil before seeds hit dirt. These have been not watered for 3 weeks now
Get her 50% rh and stress it not. Temp more important. I run 35-55% always. I quit trieng and just water accordingly. Temp easier to control. I know we want perfect numbers but like in nature not always going to happen. Here are some babies…36% today and 82.
oops I read what you said and the first couple lines of @Sedfar and came to the conclusion it was all about environmental control…
@Sedfar I’m thinking every one has said what I’m thinking except it’s possible that the feeding was to much since this happened right after feeding them, but it looks more like a watering issue weed likes getting oxygen to the roots which is why most growers use something to help keep the soil airy like some coco, rice hulls, perlite, etc. I would take away the felt and allow them to dry out a little
My knowledge is limited, but the one droopy plant looks overwatered. Having said that I would try not to let seedlings get below 70 or even 72 degrees. My ten day old seedlings are in a tent below 20% RH and sitting on a seedling heat mat keeping them between 72 and 80 degrees. Young roots like warmth to grow. I had never used a heat mat to sprout seeds before, but then I never tried to start growing a plant in January before. I think your biggest stumbling block right now is letting them get too cool.
Humidity wise the humidity should be around 60%-80% for seedlings so ur humidity isnt really a problem but ur temp is wat u need to get under control ,but looking at ur seedlings two of them are looking good and the other one is still good but it could be better ,i will give u alittle tip if u have seasol seaweed liquid mix 3mls in five ltrs of water and feed ur seedlings that it will promote healthy roots i do this with all my seedlings ive never had a problem alot of people will say dont feed ur seedlings but its so far from the truth if u give them the seaweed liquid mix in five ltrs of water u will see a difference in two three days
Do these plants have a shot? I noticed a third plant just beginning with yellowing of the leaf. The other plant now has both leaves just about completely yellow. I didnt water today…im drying out the plants so the roots can get some oxygen as someone suggested. Right now i am blowing the heater right on the plants. Its the only way i can get my temp into the mid 70s. Will the heater blowing on the plants hurt them? Does anyone grow without a tent? How do you regulate temperature in an open, cold, basement with plants on the floor. I have them on a heat mat but it doesnt seem to help up the temps.
