Has anyone grown perpetual vegetables in their grow room?
I was thinking of growing lettuce and other vegetables year round but unsure of how the light timing changed will affect the vegetables.

I’m growing tomatoes, bell peppers, cilanto, basil, and dill this Winter.
I run them 12/12. Veggies don’t require near as much light as cannabis does.
So if I were to start lettuce or other veggies along side cannabis, would the 18/6 then 12/12 light schedule switch have any effect?
The schedule doesn’t matter.
This is my plan for my other tent. Thinking about herbs in mason jars Kratky style. Might try some soil too for peppers and tomatoes.
I mix my vegetables with my weed grow in the spring indoors. Peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, ect. I use my old Happy frog soil and the veggies love it
That’s awesome! I guess I was under the impression the light change would trigger flowering of the veggies as well.
Almost Christmas tomatoes.
It’ll have to be fried green tomatoes since it is next week. lol
I’d love to run tomatoes year round but my electric bill is high enough already and i dont have the extra tent space
I’m running 2 HLG 260s for 2 bell pepper, 2 tomato, and basil, cilantro, and dill plants. It costs ~$30 a month. I’m not saving money, but it’s still fun and the tomatoes and peppers homegrown taste great.
Yeah i split my electric bill three ways so it wouldn’t be fair to just keep adding grow lights and tents
Yum yum Fried green tomatoes, been a few months here, I may have to get another light and set up the 4x4 and grow some veggies!
