Can I grow herbs and Other plants in my tent

I have a small lettuce growing in my grow tent and at the moment it’s very small before I put it outside on my balcony. Is it okay to grow Other plants and herbs in my grow tent. I saw on this forum that basil and cilantro grows well with cannabis and I’m asking because I have some literally growing in small pots.

I grow all types of vegetables and fruits with my cannabis plants. I find it’s easier to determine any nutrient issues with plants like lettuce. I use watermelon as a cover crop for my outdoor plants.

I start all my plants off indoor to get a head start.
Tomatoes ,garlic ,lavender,chilli …anything really.

Wow, that’s a very small watermelon under a very big cannabis plant. Did you break 10 pounds on that one.?

Lol, the watermelon did get larger by the end of the season. Sadly, my average is only around 5lbs per plant. In AZ we’re allowed 12 plants per household, so I don’t bother with the bottom half of the plants…trimming takes forever!!

Yes, I grow my vegetables, fruits, herbs and cannabis side by side in the garden.

With careful consideration with your advice I have come to a decision that I will put them together.

Your cannabis will fill the tent in a couple of months, but your herbs will bolt before you flip to flower. Looking good, best of luck this season.

Could be around the same time I am growing auto flowers at the moment

I have a 5x10ft grow tent and I use it all year round. I prefer having starter plants (fruits/vegetables) instead of planting seeds directly into the ground. Onion seeds take forever to go from a seed to a full size onion. Starting them in the tent during the winter allows me to transplant bulbs in the spring. My cannabis plants have already grown larger than my tent, so they’ve been moved to the greenhouse waiting for the outdoor transplant.

@YuccaBud, love your style and non cannabis garden skills. I have almost caught up on your thread. Enjoyable read.

Thank you, I’m still a rookie in the world of cannabis and truly enjoy the addition to the garden. This year my focus is going to be on cage design and maybe I’ll try different combinations with feeding during flower. I’m lucky enough to grow flavorful 15ft tomatoe plants, so hopefully I’ll be able to transfer those skills to my cannabis plants.

Why would you want to give up space to veggies?

Sounds like you have a green thumb. Good luck

Is this question to me? If so I want to maximize the light and environment before I put them out at the end of spring.

Want to apologize for this reply. I love gardening. I have a large outdoor garden spot. I don’t need to use my tent for veggies but city dwellers or anyone who doesn’t have the outside capabilities could use grow tents,
