VA Beach Outdoor Question…

For those of you familiar with mid-East Coast Coastal growing, what is the earliest you have successfully started a plant outdoors??

I want to start a few as early as possible this upcoming season but don’t want to run into frost or early flowering issues!

Earlier than mid may will risk early flowering and time wasting revegging. You can start them early as you want if you can keep them indoors and have more than 14 hours of light on them.

Thanks for the response! I am considering starting indoors, I would just have to bite the bullet and get a light, I’ve only done outdoors so far. I just want to mess around and see how big I can get a plant!

Started an outdoor in March last year. It immediately went into flower.

If you’re only going to use the light for veg phase you don’t need expensive high watt lighting either.
