Take it From The Top, or Don't Stop

I’ve been experimenting with deifferent types of training. I had been training these branches to level the bottom canopy but this one is outgrowing the rest by far.

My question, now, is do I let her grow the way she is or do I top her to be even with the other nodes.

Is this a photo or an auto?

I always top my plants 2x. Sometimes 3x depending on how the plant is growing. Many growers begin above the 4th real node, but you are beyond that at this point.

Your plants would benefit greatly from more light.

I agree with Midwest and I’ll add that you could bend that taller branch down and tie it or if you have one of those clip that holds the branch over at a 90. This will slow it down to allow the other branches to catch up a bit. I do both top n bend depending on the plant and how much room I have to play with

I took that picture at night, and the one in the background has recently undergone some defoliation and then supercropping so thats why theyre hanging low. Theyre photos that have spent their time outdoors. The one in the background was under a light in the closet before I had to move so it then was put under the sun.

The issue isn’t the ambient light when the photo was taken. The node spacing on the plant is excessive, indicating that the plant has not been getting enough light. I would get her as much direct sunlight as possible.

Yeah, I originally had them under a crappy walmart light and I’ve broken a handful of branches in the learning process unfortunately lol.
