So this girl had a rough start and a weak light. Issues corrected and I’m thinking of topping her and starting Lst today. Thoughts?

I would let her grow out a bit more first.
The plant would benefit from more lighting.

She’s a photoperiod. Watermelon Z. Running a 600 watt Koscheal with a supplemental florescent. 20" above the canopy. I topped her about 5 hours ago and she seems to be doing great.

If she’s a photo you can let it go to the 5th node. Autos good at the 3rd node
I just checked out that light and unfortunately it isn’t actually a 600 watt light. It may be what has caused the stretching. It may flower one plant but doubtful.
Sounds like you fixed your light issue. Might have wanted to let her adjust to it for a week but since you already topped it there goes that lol. Good thing is it has lots of time left to grow with the better light.
