Sugar Leaves cut or leave on bud

I have some nice small potent sugar leaves on my buds, I’m harvesting and drying now, do I leave them on or trim to the bare bud.

This is personal preference. I just trim off any that are sticking out really far from the bud surface, leave the rest. Trichomes get you high, not the bud itself :man_shrugging:

Save trimmings for later!

I dry trim
Ready for final trim

Ready for the jar

The trimmings, mostly big sugar leaves, will go in a jar too. Then who know what. Concentrates or a little shake with dry ice over a screen.

Are the plants ready to harvest? Not sure where you’re at but (photoperiod) outdoor isn’t ready till mid October or later where I’m at (California). It looks like you’re outdoor, maybe I’m wrong.

On the topic, I dry trim the sugar leaves; it helps to slow the dry down for me. I prefer the least leaf on the final product so I get what I can off.

I do a rough trim because I don’t have a use for the trimmings, if I cooked or made a bunch of hash I might trim a little closer
