Hello friends
I have a question
Is it normal for female plants that have been harvested and grown in a female group to have seeds?
Is the presence of seeds in the product a defect or not?
It’s normal for a female to produce a few seeds. If it is more than a few, then the plant would have been pollinated.
Fairly normal. I few seeds will not hurt quality.
Yes , if it’s a nice strain you got lucky .
Two things will bring you seeds. Pollen from male plants or pollen from female plants that went hermaphrodite. I wouldn’t call plants going herm normal but it’s not uncommon, especially when using feminized seeds.
All feminized seeds are made from pollen with female DNA or hermaphrodite by switching sex with colloidal silver. Using cs on a flowering node will make said flower herm. Using the pollen from the sacks or Nanners to pollinate other female plants or themselves. All feminized seeds are made using this or a similar technique. I have grown seeds from hermie pollinated seeds and had wonderful results. But the odds are always there… That’s why die hard pheno hunters usually use reg seeds and find females.
