It takes a lot of electricity to keep my room at that temp. I’m in AZ and a constant 80 is a tall task. My plants seem to adapt and do well. It certainly gives me stress listening to my portable ac run all day. Fortunately, my son lived in my guesthouse for years and when he moved out, I setup the grow. I was already used to the electric bill and noticed no dif in the bill.

The ac infinity 67 controller is amazing! Gotta have their fans for it to work but still awesome

Hell i dont even consider 86 high with l.e.d. lights. The plants don’t care what the room temperature is they go by leaf temp. Hps lights put off high levels of infrared light which has a heat lamp effect raising leaf temperature. Led lights are much different than that and run much cooler.

I read that same article! I use a laser thermometer and my leaf Temps sit about 2° lower than ambient temp. I have no problems so I don’t worry too much about Temps. I just like the ability to keep it constant. The ac controller is a beast for that!

Yeah its definitely much easier to grow now than it was 15 yrs ago. Not only because of all the advantages of modern technology but the information is much easier to find and more readily available.

Week 3 of flower for the wolfpack so the stretch has pretty much stopped so now its time to give her 1 last haircut. After this I won’t be doing anymore defoliating until the final 2 weeks.

This is the time I like to clear out EVERYTHING under the screen and remove small little sucker bud sites. Then I stand over the screen looking down over the plant. Any medium to large leaves blocking buds sites have to go with one exception. I always leave just a few larger leaves near the screen as an early alarm to any mobile deficiencies.

Before

After

Don’t be to judgemental on my screen fullness :joy: I didn’t fill them in veg, just used the stretch to fill so im pretty happy with the results.

Day 1 of flower for Strawberry Gary :crossed_fingers: really high expectations for this one impaticular. Another strawberry gary and 2 dreamsicle on the way.
I shaved gary’s legs about 3 days ago so ill let grow grow until after weeks then major defoliation.

Really surprised at how full these screens are going to be considering im not filling them in veg to save time.

Currently …
Wolf pack - 4 weeks
Sour diesel - 3 weeks
Straw gary - day 1

So far things are going nice and smooth as expected but sometimes shit happens. After about 30 harvest its easy to get lazy and not babysit them non-stop. Thats when bad shit happens to me so I just need to stay focused.
Hopefully by the end of the month I’ll have the room packed with 6 screens. Im really glad I didn’t start all these at the same time. I would be training plants for 2 hrs every other damn day.

The wolf pack has gotten pretty bushy again. Thinking I may defoliate a little again. Don’t even get me started on the sour diesel, I have rip a pile of leaves of that plant every week.

Hope everyone’s grows are going well

Things are looking amazing! The clones are getting close as well. Plain water only?

Yup one time about 10 yrs ago I ran out of root hormones so just threw them in there and they rooted just as fast so ever since then just fresh water every 3rd day with a little hydrogen peroxide.

Thank you! I have a buddy that does it the same way. I have another friend that uses aloe and cinnamon. Whatever works right?!

Back when I first started I used clone powder and peat pucks. Man if you can clone that way you can clones anyway
Im on the hunt for for some mothers right now. Some exotic genetix red pop line and joti black line. Fingers crossed for some fire. They sure look good.

If I find something great ill reverse a clone and make some S1 beans for a later date.

:strawberry:gary!?! That’ll be awesome! I just did some cloning for the first time. I had 3 purple banana cookies going and one of them was a monster. I felt compelled to learn. So far so good!

I have four of them in a 2x2. I’m at week 3 of veg and will be flipping them tomorrow.

Those look great, beautiful shade of green. Looks like you have the cloning part down pretty well.
