The Whirly Dirly ConspiracY - Ahh, SCROG IT!

Those who know me already, know I said, I wasn’t gonna grow indoor this Summer. I need to have a new roof put on. Gotta save dat money :moneybag: I made it 2 whole months without dropping seeds…

Hello, I’m :zipper_mouth_face: and I’m a growing addict

Thanks to unwittingly goes to my mother for helping me overhaul my house AC and air handler in February. This has save me $150/mo compared to last year. Why not grow with the blurple lights one last time, before I build a new light?

To all the new growers following out there, please ask all the questions you want. I try to make this as user friendly as possible. No questions are ever dumb ones. If I can’t answer you, I know someone that I tag can.

I’ve gone backwards again. I’m back to using bag seeds just for this grow. It shall be like my closet growing days, higher heat. Hopefully, not low yield (1-2 Oz) like back when :joy::rofl: So yeah, bag seeds that I sexed first, only females 100% sure.

This has always worked for me over the years.

I’m fighting my perfectionist ways this Summer. I’ve never let my tent go over 78F during a grow ever! Pump in the AC and regulate the humidity levels with a DIY humidifier. Everything must be perfect, textbook, when I grow. OCD much!? :upside_down_face::crazy_face:

This won’t be that kinda grow. So without further ado folks. This is Heather (? Haze)

And here is Izzy (? Indica)

I’ll setup a SCROG, as per usual. For me, there is no other way to grow. I’ve tried many grow styles over the years, and this is what consistently works the best for my needs.

How simple yet effective they are.

As you can see, I left just enough room to water and work my screen. I also moved my fan to the back rt, different than previous grows. Also, this will be my first grow in fabric grow bags. I see them everywhere and figured, change is good. If I don’t like it, I can always go back to my Weed Cycle Bin growing :joy::rofl:

That sat on 4x4s so a drip pan could slide in and out. What to do? What to do?

Boards for now, I guess will do. I’ve gotta get on that tomorrow. Until then, time to lay back n watch TV with this blueberry. I’ll do all my tags tomorrow.

Thank you, that setup has taken me years to develop and put together. There’s always at least one thing you would change for next time. Every grow, I added a lil bit, till I made it to this point.

So many others that don’t just pop into the mind. I’ll probably be adding more later.

@Budbrother if your talking about me that would be an impressive scrog I’d have to build but I think I’m gonna run a trellis net on them

Trellis nets are a wicked pain to scrog withcompared to the screen

I’d love to scrog but my girls are out ta control outdoors lol just gonna use the trellis net for branch support

I get it. Again, this is my setup. @raustin found out that you have to have a tough screen that can take the plants pushing up on them.

I bought two bent pieces of .5“ EMT from a scrap pile $6 from an electrical supply company, and I found 5’ of chain link fence at the dump.

I just might have to give that a try with my Blueberry and OG Kush . When did you top your autos ?

I personally didn’t. That main cola is always gonna be the biggest one. Besides, once they start filling the screen up, all that side growth just explodes. I found no need to top them.

I also feel like it would be a little late to start a scrog they are almost 3 feet tall and not the bendiest anymore lol

This grow, Heather wasn’t topped but I had to slow down Izzy a bit. She got a FIM and has 3 tops now. She has been “super cropped.” A pipe fell on her as I setup the scrog last night. So yeah, super cropped lol

A trellis net would be your best bet at this point then.
