Quick metrics question about marijuana harvest

A question from a fellow grower:

Is one indoor plant that covers 1sq meter the same amount of buds as 6 plants in the same sq mtr? The reason I am asking is when I checked some seed companies out they always say how much you will yield per sq mtr. I asked one company and he told me that one produces the same as 10, Is that actually possible?

Yes, one plant with a grower with a lot of talent and a good green thumb can get the same out of one plant in the same grow space as they could with 10 plants, within reason.

I concur. Less plants per SF can yield as much or more than a crowded space.

You have better ventilation, and light penetration; Both of which are key to big yields! :smiley:
