Do here is what I am wondering. I know we are trying to keep the canopy even for light coverage. So would you have cut the taller (main)branches even to match the rest of the canopy (smaller break-off)branches or did I do right by leaving it how it is? They really shooting up (with no needles, lmao, real knee slapper)during the stretch We are roughly two weeks into flowering I think.
I think your plant will do ok as it is. Having a flat canopy gets more important when you have multiple plants. You can still train some of the taller ones out and down a little to get her a little flatter.
The ones peeking above average canopy will be your biggest colas, don’t cut them.
When training a plant in veg it’s good practice to try and keep things pretty even but once you get to flower I wouldn’t remove any main colas unless they had bud rot or something like this that would potentially risk the whole plant. What you have looks pretty good. You can maybe thin out sone fan leaves in ~week or so to keep air moving well.
Exactly what @dbrn32 said.
Once they’re finished stretching you can supercrop the highest colas over to even things out if needed but I wouldn’t do anything just yet. Looking good ![]()
