Just switch to flowering 3 days ago should I defolitate the smaller plant really short and bushy or should I continue to wait

Defoliate only as necessary to maintain good airflow within the plant’s canopy. You can encourage the plant to stretch out a bit by reducing light intensity.

Get ready to keep up with her. She will experience the most rapid growth of her life over the next ~5 weeks.

Good growing, mate.

Personally I would let plants get a LOT bigger before flipping. If using a screen you really want to populate it while plant is still bendy (veg) as once in flower it will harden off and not like being trained.

As stated; be very cautious of any leaf removal.

I only take leaves that can’t be tucked or are stacking on other leaves, accumulating moisture between. Any damage or stress during the transition can really hinder growth and development.
