Bro, here me out. Dump the two in the plastic pots, dump them out in the compost. …. Now you have five plants. Keep it simple. People are going to bust my balls for this, but it is working for me. Use only Distilled Water, super cheap at Menards. Use only the Fox Farms Trio fertilizer…get it on Amazon. Water until you have an inch of water coming out the bottom of those fabric pot, soak up that excess water anyway you can, and let those pots dry out for three days…if you do that, you will grow good buds bro!

That’s all I’m doing, buds are good.

@SlayinAsquirter No ball busting here!, I’m using the trio also and brita filtered water. Same watering procedure to the T. I’m finishing up my 2nd grow now, and everyone who has smoked my first 2 kinds said it’s great and requested I grow them again. I will eventually try other products I’m sure, for now it’s simple and it’s working.

That’s a great looking cola! I thought you have to be careful about over watering. So flooding the pots with water until she pushes out an inch of water would be over watering? So confusing……
I’m sticking with organic nutes for now. What I purchased at starting this journey and going to use it all up before getting new nutes. Even then though I may stay organic. Don’t want to fuck up the flush at the end.
The hard pots are experimental I guess, not really going to do much with them except water and maybe some feed. If the die they die. Not going to purposely kill them though. Just more focused on the cloth pots. Idk.
I get som reverse osmosis water from my grandpas well. I was using nestle pure life ro water but at a $1.95 was starting to get pricey……

Flood those pots every time you water. Then soak up the excess water. Do not water again for atleast 3 days. Repeat every time. You will be good bro. The key is to not keep them wet…. They need a few days to dry out between watering

Ok next water/feed I will do that….

My friend uses a shop vac to suck up the inch of excess water, I use towels. It is a pain in the ass either way…but you have to do it.

I watered in the tub but my girls were relatively small. (3 1/2 feet or so)

I always put my puts in those clear trays. I just left the water in there and it was usually sucked back into the pot before morning.

But that was after about the first month of veg.

I stole my wife’s turkey baster to suck up the excess water, works like a dream!

Fed today. Using SIMPRO MICROBES, VEG and BLOOM formula. Of course not all at once. Veg at the moment. I topped 3 waiting for one cloth pot to pop it’s 5th node then I will top as well. LST will come next when I feel they are ready. The2 smaller ones I will probably pull in the next week. They seem to be struggling and I don’t want to waste the attention/water/nutes. I’m having a hard time pulling them though idk :man_shrugging:. Lol temps steady between 24-30 c more on the lower side though. Humid today where I’m at so humidity sitting around 45-55. Currently at 51. Hoping they will start stretching good soon I’d like to see them bigger than my first run. Same genetics minus the despo photo. My first run all the plants stayed short , tallest was 16”. I guess I’ll find out if I stunted these sooner or later.

Girls are getting bigger seems like day by day. Which is a big improvement from my first grow, where I didn’t see much progress day by day more like weekly/biweekly.
Got rid of the two stragglers, well didn’t kill them but just put them outside to fen for themselves. I figured the 50 degree weather over night and early am would have done the job. Come to find out I go out there and they’re upright praying. So gave them some water from the outside hose. Nothing special. Not even phd :grimacing: lol.
So 2 LSD Runtz and 2 white wedding cakes(cloth pots). Blue pot is either northern lights or light widow. At the moment I’m leaning towards light widow since it looks nothing like the northern lights in my first run. It was tall and stretched and wasn’t so bushy. The light widow in my first run was bushy wider and stretched but not like the NL.
Cloth pots looks like I’m going to have two different phenos for both strains. Will be LST a bit in a week or so and that’s when I will do a defoliation. Hoping to get a few inches taller and bushier before doing the LST and defoliate.

That’s awesome brother, you’re issues at this point are the same as everyone else that is trying to grow some decent buds…awesome fuc!ing job actually. I would only recommend to not defoliate, those plants will need all of those fan leaves for energy for at-least a month. Your crushing it Bro.

Thanks budd, I’m trying to improve even by a little. Was going to wait to defoliate in a week or 2 was leaning on the 2 week mark. That’s when the girls will bet just over a month old.
I had question about light during lights out. I have a mini fan/humidifier in there that has a blue light. I’m unable to shut the light off. Will that stress or hermie the plants. I usually cover with towel but sometimes not home to catch it before lights out.

I’m paranoid about light leak to bro, I just stick a piece of tape over indicator lights and hope for the best.
