Pretty bummed about second grow

@SlayinAsquirter
Uh damn I wish that’s all the light I’m talking about. Mine is more like this……

This is through the vent window. I will probably just go throw the towel on it.

That’s bright bro, it needs to go. That will cause problems in a month. Get that out of your tent, tape up the lights on it the best you can and open your tent vents. Light leak is fine if it’s like Moonlight, but that is a bit much.

That’s with the towel over it.
I will take it out tomorrow and get a different fan in there.

That might work bro. The rule is “if you can’t read a newspaper in the light, you’re fine”…just like Moonlight.

Your plants look great. Before I found this place, I checked out a few other forums and they were nasty to new growers. Been here almost three years and still learning.

If it was for two growers @MeEasy and @emgoldslo , I would not have made it through that first grow.

The moderators do a great job of warning and removing the riff raff.

Have a wonderful day!

21 days from sprout today… strait water with ph of 6.1….still growing and pushing strong. This time my first grow I do believe my girls were going into pre flower. No sight of that yet but will be keeping an eye out since it’s the same genetics….

Haha really? I checked on the two I threw out yesterday and grass hoppers chomped away at them! Bad! today they are still standing and wanting to grow I guess. I moved them up a lit bit so grasshoppers should have to work to get to them. We”ll see.

yea, she acted up and i had two others that were thriving. couldn’t leave a sick girl in the room with the healthy girls. so, outside to think about her choices. i think i’ve watered twice in a month (and by “watered” i mean i was using the hose for something else and remembered she was there).

but i guess where there’s a will, there’s a way! i flicked a grasshopper off a few weeks back. there were two of them one day; doing unspeakable things to each other in the dirt. then the next day one of them was gone and the other was eating my the plant. flick!

I had some hopper damage early in the season. We also had a plague of Miller moths.

It was a strange season to grow outdoors for sure.

I have to fight the insects with my veg garden outside so I didn’t want to try and do that with the cannabis which is why I choose indoor in a tent.
Here in N. Az grasshoppers are bad! Cicadas as well and lots of moth caterpillars. Tarantulas, but haven’t had any this year. Tarantula hawks as well but the don’t seem to eat any of my plants outside but always see them in there. Maybe hunting. Been having some pesky ground hog and rabbits that I really need to take care of. Plan on getting a BB gun here soon. Lol.

What do y’all think?

So started some LST yesterday…Some more than others. Thinking I’m going to leave one alone she seems to be doing very well always praying.
22 days old today…. Raised light, sitting 18”-22” above… hoping to help them stretch one of my lights I have at 75% can’t adjust the others. Should I lower it to help encourage stretching.

Growers choice. Depends on what you’re after. They look pretty good right now, a little length in the stems, but not leggy and thin. More of a style choice at this point imho.

Feeding today and notice one of my girls has something going on with its leaves. Don’t know if it’s some sort of pest or something wrong with the plant it looks like it’s being eaten away but can’t find any insects. I’ve been doing a lot of tucking on this one does that have something to do with it? They seem to be growing out that way deformed or what not. Hope it’s not deserved I haven’t isolated her.

It looks to me like they are beginning to transition to flowering.
How long have they been above ground?

23 days today I believe or 24 I have to double check. They are showing pistils and looking pretty good minus those leaves on the one girl.
Last feeding today then strait water next then start the transition next. But may just water water then transition to bloom nutes. Depending on how they are looking.

As long as your under 10 PPFD your less than the moonshine. Anything above 10 PPFD will hurt them.

Your taking a risk by doing this. The runoff water is full of spent nutrients that are turned into salts which will get absorbed back into the roots and burn the plant.

I’ve changed over to a dutch bucket system now… so I don’t do that anymore.
