Plants have almost halted vertical development. Pistils are stacking very nice for 17 days in flower.
Lights just hit 60k on 4 tallest sites. Most are above 48k. I have one stem I pulled down that it looks its running for the door. Will pull her tighter in.
Am check one moved bud using supercrop manipulation has fallen 8 inches at the manipulation point. Wired up to 55k lux
I now have 50% of all forming bud sticks at 55-60k lux and will keep them at this hight for 2 weeks before moving up to max of 65. I have 4 nice sticks building lower and during tomorros feeding and training I am going to use an idea I saw a growbro use. He out bamboo sticks in the pot and then used grennwire to pull them up into the canopy. Also theseplants keep pumping out non viable nodes lower and these need to be removed.
Ordered another foop bud kit, this time the gallon size with the dispenser pumps. It is very expensive but it works very well for what I need. I thought about changing nutes but all organic pour nutes are pretty high priced but changing nutes with 6-8 weeks left seemed stupid and cheap. I did cheap my first grow and I am done with that.
Did what I could this morning with picking new nodes off down low and moving some leafs around. Did not pull out of tent today back bothering me too much
My last water/feed was 2.6 for big plant and 2.1 for smaller plant. Both ran a bit out bottom. I do have roots presenting above dirt now and a couple are now stems ( green ) .
Small spare of yellow leaves. Tracked down and found all yellows on very slim stems but have pistils growing. Obviously there is not enough energy from 2 small fan leaves but wow it gave it a shot as it’s the size of a dandelion puff.
Zero point day went fine all the growee sensors were right in and only 1 of 3 ACI sensors were out of drift .4 temp and 2% HR.
PH 60 kit was out from .12 to .17 for pH both running high.
Wish all these apps had a " plant maintenance mode " where all the ducts and fans turn off and the light goes to 25% then unclick it and it goes right back to automatic.
Left my duct fan off when done watering and the app warning went off for temp and humidity in 10 minutes. Soon as I heard the alarm I knew what I forgot.
So pot check today found a remarkable level canopy from doing absolutely nothing. Ok one thing I untied the big fimmed stem and moved it from 45k to 60k lux. All sticks at at least 55k lux and at 88% light I can get 70k if they want it. That’s for later in flower.
Pot check not dry. Watering has been the same routine since week 4 every other day in morning first thing about a 1./2 liter slowly as the water has gotten tight with roots then half hour later finish it to damp pot bottom.
Starting to see some leaf fade from smaller stem runs. I have purposely ran herd on the environment to ensure I could leave as many fans for nutrition as needed. RH high of 53 and low of 47 with tent walls pulled in from setting 7 on duct.
White widow ILGM 3 weeks at 12/12 using foop flower kit.
Start of 4th week flower. Nute pour today will be the highest of the run and stays at max for 3 weeks and trends down after that. Lights at 60k lumens and will be pushed up to 65 by end of this week. Will also be trending down in temp 1 degree a week for 2 weeks until landing speed of 75/70.
The big one still sprouting pistils in odd places and I am removing as I see them. Smaller not doing this but is starting to fade some larger fan leafs and when tracked up they are going to the biggest bud sticks. Hopefully this will slow as the nute mix fires up the furnace.
I got a loupe kit 30-60-90 x and now I find a USB microscope for $20. I had not bought anything to check tricomes as to not get cocky but it looks like I am going to need it.
First look this am all good. Leaf fade holding and nothing new. Very level grow at this point tops at 60K lux with no sign of bleaching. Will continue with leveling and checking light every 4 hours
Something I have been kicking around is some enhanced security for the tent. 2 seeds ar 12 bucks but 2 flowering White Widow is worth much more.
You guys would be surprised how many Orks you can get for a few hundred gallons of fungus beer and some gubbins and squigs.
Both plants at 3.7 liters with about 8 oz of runnoff.
Day to night transition is a total fail at this point. The plants are transpiring so much even at setting 8 It takes an hour to stabilize at 45% . With this much vegatation spewin humidity the 4 inch duct is to small. I am dragging 24% air into the tent and it takes way to long to reduce.
Part of the problem is the heaterbox on the roof of the tent. Even if the heaterbox is not working it is a 2 inch duct pulling air in as it has no flapper to stop the cold but more humid air from 18 inches from the ceiling.
Anyways the nutes have started yet another explosion of new fuzzys and its a full time job just keeping up on those trims. Balanced canopy pulled some up and shived some down. Very hard to spend enough time standing to do this but at this point I can not move the plants. This is where they are going to stay.
lights 90% canopy 1/3 at 60k lux balance between 45 and 60k
Last night and this morning were the worst stress this grow. Could not maintain humidity under 60% in mid flower during transition and then woke up once stabilized 2 times for apparently the thermoforge not working. Went to backup ceramic heater again and rode herd on the system until stable temp then worked on humidity.
The thermoforge was taking forever to warm up and again setting 8 was warmer than setting 10. After a while the unit shut off but not due to overhead and without any warning messages and without a notification that heater was off through the app. I was getting so pissed.
Sitting and staring at the tent in my chair I happened to notice the tent was swaying a bit. It was 6:30 am and I had not burned any since 9pm so it was not me. What. The. Hell
This is mostly a story about why we are supposed to write down EVERY THING WE DO until we know what we are doing. If I would have wrote down in my journal when I upped the duct fan to stage 7 I would have realized the issue.
I did not.
At stage 7 and above the duct fan howls and sucks in tent walls. It is spinning fast enough to vibrate the wood panel on the tent which the thermoforge is mounted on. This caused the tip protection circuit to engage and shut off the thermoforge with NO NOTIFICATION FROM THE APP.
In systems control nomenclature this is known as a big fat fail on the part of the manufacturer. When the thing overheats you send a warning. When the humidifier is out of water you send a warning. Why o why is the tip over sensor trigger not wired for a diagnostic condition?
Anyways thermoforge back on floor and back in control of heat and humidity. This will work until outside approaches 5 degrees or less then I have to put the thermoforge back on the top and deal with humidity issues.
If you search Gelato Cookies it list all the phenos that pretty much express traits the same and all have the same family history.

Moving the thermoforge fixed all the drama during transition from day to night.
I installed the bungie trelles to tie some flower up and move them away or towards the light. I am now close to the max I was going to run at 65k lux. I have no bud sites less than 54k.
Today almost made a mistake. Mixed my nutes and as normal I threw about 1/2 liter into each pot and let them sit for a while. When I was walking around I realized that I did not check weight of the pots.
These are not dry yet. Should have expected this as they both took 3.7 liters with a little runoff and pots are still heavy with water. Will check them before bed.
I do know that these plants are transpiring bigley. Used the RO filter to make the last 10 gallons for the humidifier as it does not use enough water to even require emptying the condensate container.
2 flowers are starting to show the White Widow silver hue from my temp changes. I had planned to drop 1 degree Thursday and another next week but with growth and progress I have backed it down to 76 and will go to 75 on Thursday.
Feeling pretty blessed today as things seem to be coming together towards the end. Happy with lights and nutes for sure. Tent size not so much as everything this morning had to be done standing and that just sucks.
