please take a look at the attached picture. the plant has been growing for 5 weeks now. it was planted in a pot for pot. I’ve only given it water. please note at the top of the plant how the tips of the leaves are twisting… I need to figure out what’s happening. Thanks in advance.
What size is the pot? Kind of lights? Kind of soil, neuts?
good idea to post the “questionare” to help us …help you.
look for it.
yellowing is moving up from bottom…starving for nutes n water.
add nutes to water…adjust PH…tween 6.2 n 6.8PH.
The pot size is 2 gallons. The soil is the Pot for Pot mixture, Superb Soil and Cocoa husk with a root simulator. The lights are VIPARSPECTRA UL Certified 450W LED Grow Light. I run the lights 24 hours a day on Veg only lights at 24" above top of plant. I read in the instructions for the soil that I did not need to add additional nutrients while in vegetative growth. That may not be the case.
I have some Fox Farm FX14049 Liquid Nutrient Trio Soil Formula: Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom (Pack of 3 - 32 oz. bottles). Which should I give and what would the level of mixture be with water. I have been attempting to use Acid Down in order to achieve a 6.2 to 6.6 Ph level. The TDS level drops to less than 500 ppm when I adjust Ph. Maybe I’m just confused about the whole thing.
Sorry. but not sure what you mean by “questionare” to help us… help you look for it, statement. Please explain. Thanks
FF stuff is good.
1—transplant to 5 gallon asap. baby is root bound. you will see the mass of roots that can’t “breathe”.
2—your baby is big nuff to use 60 to 80% strength nutes.
3—trim off yellow/dead leaves.
Yes on the repot for sure.
Here you go.

Can you tell me which type of Fox Farm?
Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom
Thanks for your assistance
Does anyone know how much and which type or types of Fox Farm nutrients to use? Or am I on my own?
Ive heard you should start a quater to half what bottle says until plants get older . Im a newb to so hope this helps
Thanks, but which one, Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom?
Tiger for sure . Not sure about big bloom . But from what ive heard about grow big is that its an organic fertilizer and kinda hurt the plant unless you really overdo it .
Thanks for your help Dude. Just mixed up Big Bloom, half strength, got reading of 890 ppm and balanced to 6.2 on ph. Will check on it in the morning. Thanks for everyone’s help! I may be back with more questions. It’s hell being a newb!
Image is my Super Skunk seeds from ILGM.
I can’t offer any advice on your nutrients because I’m using Canna products. When I had yellowing of my leaves my plant was more mature than yours. My yellow leaves were due to a iron deficiency. So yellow leaves can be caused by too much water, too much fertilizer/nutrients, iron deficiency.
well as you can read from above that’s what I did. Here are some pics after I made the transplant into larger pot. Again it’s hell being a newb!
Big Bloom and Grow Big are the veg nutes. FF site has a chart for all types of grow media. Tiger Bloom starts later.
Ok! Thanks
Fox Farm drops your ph down a lot. Not sure if you were already using it but, don’t. You have to add so much ph up it will drive you crazy.
Do you have a good PH pen and EC/TDS meter?
Just stopping in for a sec…I see you filled out a support ticket but, I cnnot hang right now. Back later since I see you asked me to help.
