Does anyone have this problem? The plants do good until flower cycle and then do this. I use hydroponics 3 part nutrient system. I never have a problem with outdoor grows, it’s the indoor grow and this is happening every time, even after changing things up. Veg stage is fine but flower stage takes a turn.

I use a 3 gallon fabric pot with happy frog soil with perlite added, tap water at 8 ph, temp is 60 to 70 degrees, humidity is 49 to 63. GDP auto seeds from ILGM. 2 100 watt spider farmer full spectrum lights
What are you feeding them?
The proper pH for soil is 6.3 to 6.8. pH is on a log scale, so 8.0 is farther off than you might assume. A pH of 8.0 is going to cause problems. What is your runoff pH?
What product(s) are you feeding the plant with? Are you managing runoff PPM?
Hydroponics 3 part system
I don’t know what the run off is but I did just change to distilled water hoping it will help. I only water about every 3rd day with water, then next schedule I use the nutrients at 1.5 to 2 tsp per gallon
That the stuff I use, General hydroponics. I use it on my outdoor plants and they turn out great, also use the same water outdoors, Tap
Ok. Outside your ph regulates pretty well with life if in ground. Indoor not so much. 8 is high. That nutrient line self regulates ph pretty darn good. Mix your feed water. Let sit an hour. Check ph THEN adjust. You need to get down under 7. 6.5-6.8 area in flower. Just easy starting fix.
@Storm has you. @ml welcome and its absolutely your pH. I had this identical look to mine last summer. pH was at 7.5. Get a good pen and get that back down. If no pen at least add 1- 1.5 tsp of vinegar after mixing everything.
Ok, I will do that and hopefully it will help repair the plants. Thank you!
Thats per gallon. 1tsp per gallon. Good luck my friend. Should be looking better in a week or so.
Just remember, the damaged leaves won’t go back to normal.
Be careful with that much vinegar, I use it for ph down when I rarely need it but it only takes me a half teaspoon in a five gallon mix to drop ph several tenths.
Hey I have used it too and been all over the place. Seems to depend what Im fixing. If you do that add bit by bit while keep testing
So I mixed my nutrients and it did drop it way down to 6.1. I got a tester for the soil and one plant has a 5.5 reading in the soil, the rest are 6 to 7. How can I get that 5.5 up to normal?
Far in so I wouldnt flush. Just water in at 6.8 from here out. Damage is done so lets finish. Next batch we will be on point. A lot of growers who use your nute line do not realize it regulates and dont let it sit. Ph up works well to fix. A small ph KIT of ph up and diwn is a good buy.
Will do and I got some PH up and down. Just hoping the plants turn out ok, smell good just don’t look good. Thanks for all the help!
Once far into flower they almost always finish. Might not be pretty leaves. They want to propogate and will turn all energy and resources to the flowers. If locked out on nute uptake they will cannibalize all the foliage for nutrients to produce seeds. No pollination they just fatten the flowers. Hope the ph adjustment helps. Look at flower tops for green healthy growth in a week. Old brown leaves are done. Personally I would let the plant leech them for now and pull when depleted. Just my thoughts.
