Think i have a lock out, ph very low

Im 5 weeks into flower and everything is looking good (i guess). Ive been testing my ph and ppm before and after watering and last water i noticed my PH of runoff was 5.8. I thought that was a little low i just watered and decided to ph my water to 6.7 to try to increase the ph in the soil. I just tested the water and my ppm is good 1500 ppm which is what i want but my ph is 5.2. Im also not noticing growth but im also not noticing problems. Im afraid of a lockout very close to harvest and its not really growing. Ill attach pictures. Hope someone can help.

Looks like magnesium is locked out. May need some dolomite to raise the soil ph

Looks like she’s just finishing up. Colors look good. Nice growing!

I dont see any problems in the plant, ik its normal for the leaves to change but the extremely low ph is bothering me. The bud sites are growing extremely slow for the past month.

these photos are almost 3 weeks apart and the growth is very minimal.

The buds look like they have thickened up quit a bit to me. I wouldnt expect much vertical growth at this time. How is your lighting?

After i posted it I realized the pictures dont do it justice, yes theyve fattened up but im 2 days away from 6 weeks in flower i was expecting something more i guess. I have an HLG 300 v2 in a 3x3 tent.

That pH of 5.2 would concern me too if your in soil. Have you thought about flushing to get back to optimum pH and back on track?

If thats what needs to be done ill do it. I just fed her tonight. Im in FFOF soil. I water 2 gallons every 3 days with 20% runoff. I skip nutes every other feed so i dont burn the plant. When should i flush if thats what i need to do? Tonight or the nxt time i water (3 days from now)

Are you doing the flushes on the fox farm schedule? I also use FF soil, happy frog and FF nutes. I have sledgehammer for my scheduled flushes. Fox farm nutes definitely drop the pH. Especially tiger bloom. I’ve had pH drop problems in the past so this grow I started going in at 6.6 anticipating the drop in ph, I’m keeping much better control now and in range.

If you just watered today, you could flush now. If not, I’d wait for next water to let her dry out.

Looks like she’s due on the schedule

I dont use ff nutes only soil, i use general hydroponics nutes. Im currently flushing. Gonna get the ph up to 6.2.

Oh gottcha, good luck. Looks like you’ve done a great job with her.

Your girl still looks good regardless :ok_hand: I went through the same issue but it was first week of flower but yeah I use ff soil and nutes and I used FloraKleen to flush never had a pH issue until Tiger Bloom and Floralicous Bloom it lowered my pH as @GreenJewels has mentioned, I’ve been going in at 6.8 and my run off is reading between 6.4 - 6.6 I’m hoping a little fluctuation won’t hurt them

Ok so after 20 GALLONS of water, the runoff ph is 6.1-6.2. Hopefully that will help but let me tell you, absolute nightmare lmao. Im exhausted

My plan now is to ph my water to around 6.7-6.8 until i harvest. Im gonna wait until she completely dries out then im gonna feed her with nutes again since i just flushed them all away. She at a ppm of 220 (my water is 220 from the tap) and a ph of 6.2. Thanks for the help guys, flushing sucked though lol.

Did you use anything for flushing like sledgehammer or FloraKleen?

I did not, i used water ph’d to 7.5 until my runoff was 6.2.

This is my first grow but I did the same flush as you trying to balance pH and TDS I did one plant without FloraKleen and it took 15 gallons and using FloraKleen I used 2 -3 gallons per plant to get the same result as running 15g so it kinda took the suck out of flushing for me

yea just looked it up and will def be buying some because i said 20 gallons, but it was more like 25 gallons and i spilled water everywhere hahaha. Hopefully i dont have to do a full flush like that again. Im going to actually water her again probably on friday so im gonna post here after i do with the ph of the runoff then, hopefully its fixed for good.

But u were using the florakleen to flush salts and nutes, if im trying to raise my ph would it really benefit me? My ppm was clear about 5-6 gallons in but my ph didn’t raise to 6.2 until 20-25 gallons.
