I’m wondering how much weed plants stink. I live in a town house (apartment with and upstairs and down) my neighbors are young adults and I smoke with them. So I’m not worried about neighbors smelling it. My wife doesn’t want the whole house stinking is the only reason I’m considering the filtration. But if I can stay away from it it will save me 100$ plus I could say forget the tent as well so 170$ savings. I’m going to grow in a big closest under my stairs.

Yep the whole house will smell strongly of weed in and possibly out (you will want a filter)

Depends on the strain you are growing @StephenBro some you can smell coming in the front gate, some dont smell at all, but most do

If you don’t plan on having guests for 3-6 months you should be fine. I built a closet behind my gas fireplace and used the piping from it to exhaust outdoors. I also got a tent to go in there. If I didn’t run my exhaust fan, the smell was noticeable and that was even before I started flowering. I’m growing 1 white widow and it’s supposed to be one of the lesser pungent strains.

I’ve had people tell me they can smell weed when they drive by my house.
It’s legal here, so I’m not worried.
But yeah, it’ll smell.

Filter is a good idea, I dont use one and my wife smells it when she pulls in my driveway.

You could smell mine from the street and they were in the back yard! But it was Hindu Kush which is a sweet, musky odor that isn’t skunky and most folks don’t mind the smell.

I agree filter filter filter why advertise the only one i wouldnt worrie about is the ducksfoot no smell for me till about the last 2 weeks of its life great for a gorilla grow lol

I’m wondering about my black widows I’m 35 days from flip to 12/12 they look amazing but don’t have any smell. I hope it’s still to early to smell. Has anybody here grown black widow feminized photos?
I have grown about a dozen so far…all in coco…black widow fucking stinks…4 plants in a 4x4 tent by the start of week3 from seed the basement stunk…by the start of week 4 the whole house stank and my wife was complaining. So I picked up a 4”ac infinity fan 205cfm and a quality carbon filter that 100% eliminated the stink up up about 4-5 weeks after the flip by the time I harvested my filter was cooked…when I harvested and started trimming my wife said she was getting WiFfs from end of street… this strain has some major stink that lingers around like cigarette smoke
