I planted this auto wedding cheesecake from fastbuds 3 days before this auto titan 9 from multiverse genetics and the titan 9 towers the cheesecake. The node development is slowly behind the titan which isn’t a huge issue for me but the size of the plant is concerning. I had good success before and was going to top both of them but I fear the smaller one won’t hold up to it. Am I overthinking its size?
I never witnessed any overwatering or drooping of leaves it’s always had a nice healthy turgor pressure.
Can I still top this or should I leave it alone? I know once day 21 hits I read you should avoid training it, it’s growing out its fourth node at the moment.

Perfect setup. I have 4x4 with 1 of those spider farmer sf1000’s and 3 vivosun VS 1000’s. They are all 100 watt lights with Samsung LM301 diodes.
You might try the fim, fuck I messed up, topping method. I like that rather than a typical topping with auto’s.
Great question! Basically you approach as you would topping your plant. Wait for the fourth or fifth node.
Both topping and fimming are techniques used to encourage cannabis plants to grow bushier and produce more colas (flowering sites), but they differ in how they are performed and their effects.
Topping
Method: You cut off the very top of the main stem, just above a node (where a pair of leaves meet the stem).
Result: This creates two main colas instead of one, as the plant redirects its energy to the two new top branches.
Timing: Best done during the vegetative stage when the plant has at least 4-5 nodes.
Recovery: The plant needs some time to recover and redirect its growth hormones.
Fimming

Timing: Also best done during the vegetative stage.
