So
I have a total of four girls right now
The first two that I planted back in December- I knew nothing, had no proper lighting or anything ( some cheap crap from Amazon) - long story short
They’re still growing and trichomes are still clear- the buds get bigger but I’m not sure what else they’ll do - if anyone has suggestions let me know, but tbh other than adding nutrients they’ve grown way to tall for me to hang any proper lighting for them, can’t put them in a tent either due to height. So they’re kinda just there shown below
The third plant is coming along nicely- after some
slight stretching I’ve tied down her down and started LST. Managed to stop the stretching with help from the community shown below
This post is for
plant #4
She just sprouted yesterday
Any tips would be amazing
-She’s in a mars hydro tent 27” X 27” x 63”
-Mars ts-1000 light
-About 24” from top of soil
-FFOF soil mixed with Natures Living Soil - Autoflower
-Have not introduced any nutrients yet, obviously but I have the three fox farms for when it’s time
PPFD is reading between 350/370
DLI 18 hr : about 25
In the same tent as my third plant- will this be an issue?
Shown below
Your oldest plants will get there. Pistils seem close, just give it a little more time.
Next plant looks healthy, but I’m thinking she may be bent over a little early. I’m not really sure what your plan for it is either though. I usually wait until secondaries are a little more developed then just pull the top of plant over.
The baby looks good too. Try to keep lights on temps around 80f and rh up and she’ll take off once roots are established.
Anyone have recommendations for good ph meter or ppm reader?
I’m looking at this for pH but am wondering if I should just keep it simple with pH strips? No clue where to start on the ppm
I have apera ph20 and sx620. The sx620 is a little more expensive but has replaceable tip and easier to hold. I would recommend either though. The tds tester i have is cheap from Amazon, i don’t even remember the name to be honest. It’s probably 6-7 years old and still works fine.
I would also recommend when you get it calibrate do both of them the 7.0 and then after that do the 4.0 cause I see it holds good and won’t have to calibrate as often but that’s just me happy growing .
