I dont take any leaves off them for 3 weeks after they start flowering. The stretch is a critical growth period and there’s no reason to stress them at all during this time.

That said, never remove green, healthy large fan leaves, unless they block a desired bud site. Solar convertors and cooling sites (transpiration).
Always pluck ugly yellow and dry fan leaves (remove from tent else bug buffet time).
Man im nervous on plucking one lol. Would i have to pluck at an angle?
You can wait, use scissors, or pull down towards main stalk (while holding branch).
When they are really necrotic (ugly & dry) the will come off with no resistance.

Happy Sunday to the entire growing community. You blessed if you growing. Here is my Royal Dwarf Auto by RQS day 27 to the left ( I stunted her early in her stages by over watering her. She is recovering and getting stronger-lesson learned) And here is my Day 32 wedding Cake Auto by RQS aswell ( I made the same over watering early in her stage causing yellowing of leaves but she has recovered nicely with the help of the growers in this forum) going to look for s bud booster that works well with aiming at the buds growth. Im still running a spider farmer FS1000 Evo at 62% with the Royal dwarf being 24” away and the WC being 22” inches away. Going to see how they perform at this level the next day or so. Im skeptical on going full spectrum because the limited space in my tent being 4’high and 2x2 snd wouldnt want to burn them but id like to try full spectrum in a grow to see the difference. Thank God these autos are compact. If worst come to worst id put the filter on air intake outside of the tent with the exhaust going in the top of top but not sure how that would work. May also bring back the trellis for expanded light exposure. Any opinions on that. Again WC is 32 days old entering week 5Well. Here are the pics today as promise. You can try tucking them but there aren’t blocking enough to cause any issues

I do wonder why you are running your light at less than 100%.
The light intensity I had it I they would get yellow tips but I raised it today its 22” over WC canopy and 24” over Royal Dwarf. Im going to crank it to about 65% and see how rhey do. Im at 61%
Im with @merlin44, i like to run my light at 100% mostly and just raise and lower as necessary. As long as you can keep temps under control i think its better for the reflected light to run high intensity.
It is worth noting that the sun at mid-day gives a ppfd of 2000 - 2200 and plants do just fine.
I run my 2200 watts of lights at 100% except during early seedling. My ppfd readings range from 850 at the screen/net level to around 1600 near the tops of colas late in flower.
I use a PAR meter with a quantum sensor to measure light levels. Temperatures that are too high (>90 F or so) can cause issues but intense light has not hurt my plants and outdoors they get a much higher level than I give my indoor plants.
Running very intense light requires heavy nutrient loads to support the photosynthesis.
Yes I just raised it to 70% with the dimmer on. Again 22” from top of wedding cake canopy and 24” from RD canopy. You think theyll do good at that height and intensity with it being 73-76F RH 46-53. Id have to take out the filter intake fan and ductif I wanted maximum room and place them over ther exterior of the grow tent. Read somewhere thats not really good to do.
I think that they will do fine. My plants get to within 4 or 5 inches of my lights and they do fine. The only issue with getting too close to the light source is temperature. Unless you have really powerful lights, the light intensity is not a problem. My room temperature is maintained between 78 F and 85 F. Most of the time it is between 80 and 82. My relative humidity is all over the place…I don’t really worry about it so long as it is below 60% or so. If it gets too high the dehumidifier kicks in which produces lot of heat so the A/C kicks in. When everything is running (very seldom) my room pulls nearly 40 amps at 120 VAC.
My SCROG netting is about 18 or 20 inches below the light rig.
There is nothing wrong with having the fan and filter outside the tent/room. Many folks run them that way. My fan is outside the room but the filter is inside but I have plenty of room.
Thats my issue flowering during the summer, i only have access to the central air conditioning from the house so during cloudy cool days it doesn’t run much during the day. Which causes my temps in the tent to run over 80 degrees with the dehumidifier running constantly in the lung room. Maybe i will consider running higher humidity so the dehumidifier isnt going as much. I have excellent airflow in the tent.
Good air flow can really help when humidity goes up.
