This is 10 days after sprouting (13 days after putting seed in the soil). I feel like it should have grown more by now. I’m using a banana kush auto, average humidity is about 48%, average temp is about 75 F during the light cycle and about 65 F during dark cycle. On a 20/4 light cycle now. Any other info needed ask. Just looking for confirmation that this is normal or slow growth. Thanks!

I would cover it with a glass bowl or clear plastic cup to raise the humidity. Looks healthy enough and I have seen slower growth.

Seems slow to me. Here was mine at Day 9 above ground. Temps 72 F - 82 F RH 40% - 50% so I don’t think that it’s your temp or humidity tbh. I never used a dome to trap humidity either.
P.s. She stretched too much because my light was too far.
What soil are you using?

I am using the A Pot for a Pot kit. Up until a couple of days ago it was in a peat pellet. Complete Pot Grow Kit (Medium, 5 gallon)

Hmm… I’m not sure! Maybe it is still busy making roots since it is in a big pot compared to its size…

Yes it does look healthy to me! I feel like that soil may be dry though… How often are you watering? I am not fully familiar with the A Pot for Pot kit… I know lots of guys here say that it is a good kit to get started though. Not sure how often it is telling you to water / how much.
Entirely possible she’s just a slow girl too.

They told me to wait until the pot felt a third of the weight it was when it was fully watered. It’s still pretty heavy, though.

Yup let it go then. Cannabis likes to get wet, then mostly dry, then wet. I think you may want to wait till it is even lighter than that though. This I’m not sure about since I always start seeds in a solo cup…
This let’s you water easier since the pot is a good size in relation to the size of the plant. Then when you transplant, use a cup to make a mold for the root ball (root ball is the whole mass of root and soil inside the cup) as you fill the new pot. Then you cut down the side cup and peel it like a banana (dead easy to do) then plop it into the mold you made in the new pot’s soil. Now you have a better ratio of plant size to pot size. This can also promote better root growth. Here is a graphic to demonstrate.

Just a first time grow. I had to trash one of my sprouts because it wilted to nothing so I want to make sure I’m taking care of this one. Thanks to everyone!

So I put two more seeds in fabric pots with living soil mixed with FFHF. However, the directions did not call for watering the mixture prior to putting the seeds in. How much should I water so I don’t drown them?
Start with soil that is moist throughout, cover seed site/seedling with clear plastic cup or bowl to keep humidity high and then sit back and wait. Do not continue to “water” just mist the inside of cup or bowl until sprout gets too big for it.
