LMAO, I must be the one who isn’t stoned enough then.
Hey, have any of you used these kits?
You think this is accurate for my tap water? It is an old house, mostly new pex plumbing, but maybe 10’-15’ is metal, and whatever is underground to the street. Hmmmm… I still can’t afford a tds meter so this is all I can do for now.
I have rarely used my tap water, it’s usually rain, snow or distilled that is phd.
My soil looks really high if the test is says 7.5 or higher-but it’s actually the color of 8.5 and higher on the GenHyd bottles scale. I used bottled filtered water that was 6.5ph. They are different brands but the scale looks the same as general hydros liquid ph test. This would explain my weird discoloration/deficiencies.
I have to wait until tmrw to do anything because I’m testing the soils (NPK)from the big plant and clone now. The soils have to sit overnight in distilled water.
So what’s the best way to get this soil ph down?
Here’s the clone soil, explains why it’s doing awesome.
I haven’t used it.
I’m sorry for the confusion as well there @Kapelady
As is well and I should have tagged the person I was responding too or commenting on
Happy growing sister
Ps I can’t use those myself I’m shade color blind Si I’d never get it right l
I tried once and promptly purchased a digital meter lmao
Never even saw one of those . I just do a simple slurry test 2cup soil 2cup ph neutral water stir well strain test ph . Got that from a nutrient company website for checking soil ph cheap
@Countryboyjvd1971 - Don’t worry about the confusion, I am sure that there have been a few times I got confused on here …I’m starting to learn especially tagging someone so that they know I am referring to their post. It’s all good…learning so much here!
That’s awesome @Kapelady you’ll be harvesting some nice bud in no time with the help and info here
We all love the art of growing and only wish to learn and pass what knowledge we have on to others
Happy growing CB
Nice plants!!!
Thanks! It’s one plant, then I have a couple clones, one growing, one just rooted.
Plant looks much better today, I think I’ll let it recover a week and then flower. That sound right?
It’s still kind of weird how the clone leaves look so much bigger, and they’re definitely a little healthier.
Nice job on the low stress training she’s gonna be a beast
Thanks, I hope it will. I also super-cropped, fim, and topped. First grow but I’m too impatient to try something different on other plants, so I did everything to this one haha. Except splitting the stem at the base in flower. I’ve read it is harder then what I’ve tried. Maybe I’ll try that on one of the clones. Anyone tried it?
@Legalinmaine …Don’t ask me I have never cloned and this is my first time growing weed. However I would ask you what strain are these? Take a look at my girls; I have posted pictures in my thread.
It’s either chemdawg, sour diesel, or Durban as that’s all I had been smoking when I found the seed. One of those looks much different than mine so it’s 1 or 2 of the 3. I can’t wait to buy some seeds so I know exactly what they are with good genetics.
Buying seeds on this web site is easy and they come pretty fast. Both seeds that I started are growing and I have more. I bought the White Widow which is autoflowering and supposed to be a good strain to smoke too. Next time I think I’ll try the blueberry.
I’m in northern Maine, and I second this. ILGM shipped out to me, and they’re very fast and reliable. No problems
Cool, that’s probably what I’ll end up doing.
Found it…
So in flower temps are supposed to be cooler. If day is around 73-75, do you think 59-60 is still too cold at night? It gets pretty damn cold at night in the fall…
Personally, I think you’ll be fine. I’d try not to let it get any colder though. Unless you’re growing some kind of colored bud, then I think you want cooler? Don’t quote me on that though.
