Hello everybody I would like to introduce myself. I am a new grower and new to this site . I would like to thank anybody in advance for questions that I need answered. Thank you very much . I bought all AC Infinity equipment. A 4x4 setup and a 2x2 setup. The only thing is I have a spider farmer se5000 in my 4x4. Looking forward to my first grow

You are most welcome here my friend, Most Welcome!!! There are so many good folks on here and we all grow a bit different and are in different regions…so much collective info at your fingertips…I think the best tip I can give you is how to tag someone in when you are asking a question. Put the @ sign in front of the user ID like this -----> @Bonjoyle which will automatically send the person you tag a notification so they can help when they see the tag. @Greenegreens see? Welcome aboard. I am a small grower indoors in soil so if any of that is of use to you and you have any questions, tag me in. I will also set my notice to all so anytime someone posts in your thread, I can see it and pop over to see what is being discussed.

Can anyone point me to some good topics on lighting. I’m unsure on how far above the plants I’m supposed to keep my light. It’s a spider farmer se5000. The paperwork says anywhere from 8 to 14 inches but that seems very close

use the search bar. there are also categories…the 3 lines at the top of this page next to your avatar. Click that then on Categories. Lighting is one of the most used threads.

welcome @Greenegreens ,
me new here too,
also have 4x4 with se5000 , perfectomondo :ok_hand:
Heaps of information here.
:sunglasses:
8-14 inches sounds correct for light distance away from the plants.
Myself, i hover about 200mm - 300mm above.

I only use mfg’s PPFD charts as a reference as I use a DLI app on my phone to keep my DLI where it needs to be based on the plants age. Here is a DLI chart for both photos and autos.

Download the Photone app on your phone to help dial in your light. I’m still learning myself. Welcome and happy growing.

AC infinity and Spider farmer are what I run as well.

3X3 ACI tent for moms with 2 SF2000s | 2 ACI 6 inch non-oscillating fans
3X3 ACI tent for clones and veg with an SE3000 | 2 ACI 6 inch oscillating fans
4X4 ACI tent for flower I somehow managed to cram an SE7000 in | 4 ACI 6 inch oscillating fans.

I think the SE5000 will give all the light a plant can take without over the top optimization and Co2.

69pro controllers on all of em.

Welcome aboard.
